US Immigration from United Kingdom

Hi Im just wondering if anyone can tell me if the London Consulate generally sends you a rejection notice, IF you are rejected, or is it a case of finding out when you get your passport back from the courier? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.

I have my CR-1 visa interview next week (yay!), however I never received the official appointment letter from the embassy in the post (just the email confirmation about 6 weeks ago). I have printed out this email confirmation for my folder and asked the embassy if this will be sufficient, but was given a non-answer (they basically just said, "you may want to bring a copy of the email).

Has anyone with an upcoming interview received an official appointment letter in the post from the embassy?

Can anyone tell me if you can reprint a conformation page for the DS-260 with barcode? I have logged into my CEAC account and can not find it anywhere on the tabs.

Just wanted to see if anyone has mailed the application to USCIS from outside the US? To explain as clearly as possible,

Petitioner (US Citizen) (my partner)

Beneficiary (UK Citizen) (me)

We have completed our application for the CR1 visa (all the forms, evidence, signed, etc etc.) and it is currently here in the UK. We are waiting for the marriage certificate to arrive (last thing needed) which will come next month, by that time my partner will be back in the US (which is where he permanently lives, just here on vacation). As the marriage certificate is being delivered to me (UK address) when i receive it and add it to the petition, can I mail the entire application straight to USCIS dropbox in America via FedEx? Or would you recommend mailing it to my partner in the US who then mails it to USCIS himself? (seems like extra steps and time which is why I wanted to just do it directly from the UK).

Just not sure if that will raise any concerns to them as why it has been sent from the beneficiary and not the petitioner.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before?

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations on how I am able to keep my UK phone number active in the US? I have looked online and there are some options such as Three network offering "like home" roaming in the US but I don't want to commit to a network that I may not get signal/reception in.

I just want to keep my mobile number for any important contacts. I already have a dual SIM Phone where I intend to have a US SIM card as well. Has anyone been able to successfully keep their number without committing to a phone subscription?

I think I may end up trialling a Pay as you go SIM (on Three) network and hope there is signal or just rely on WiFi to connect if there is no other option.
