US Immigration from United Arab Emirates

I just got an RFE for my stepdaughters I-485 application. A quick background. My wife came here on a K-1 we married within 2 months and filed AOS. She received her green card last November. Her daughter came her as a follow to join and due to COVID19 embassy closures, she got her K-2 visa in November 2020(around 18 months after K-1 visa issued). Her daughter got to USA in December 2020 and we filed for AOS in May.

The Request for Initial Evidence is saying that the I-864 I submitted did not have the applicant listed as the principal immigrant. I assumed my wife was still the principal immigrant, they want me to change it to my daughter's name. Does that sound right?

Also they are saying that the Petitioner and K-1 applicant did not marry with in 90 days and that I can't use the I-129F as my basis for my AOS. I included the marriage certificate with the package. And my wife already has her green card and we had no issues before. What else can I include in my RFE reply to prove that our I-129F is still valid?

Is the fact that her daughter received her visa 18 months after her mothers visa potential causing issues? We have emails for the embassy where they told us the State Department was giving extensions due to the COVID closures.

today we have done our K1 visa adjustment of status interview. after the basic verification process IO separated us, and asked a lot questions about our married life etc, we answered quite well expect only 2/3 answers bit nonmatching. after all we are human and being nervures it could happen.

at start of interview the IO asked us for documents which can verify our living together, we gave our joint bank statement, our gym contracts, Costco membership etc etc he kept that bundle of documents and did not return to us, and also asked us to give him 10 photos from our album to give him and at the end of the interview he said he needs to review our case and you will receive a decision by mail.

Does anyone been though same situation or any one can help us that is this normal?

Any respond to this topic will be highly appreciate.

I'm trying to upload more evidence to our case on USCIS's website but it always errors out. How can I send them more supporting evidence?

Side note: I filed for our case through mail. Don't know if that makes any difference.

Hello guys, I have recently applied for my N400 but my ship date happens to be in 4 months. I m curious if this would made the process harder for me since I won t be able to make it to the interview or oath ceremony.

I ve heard that military members get their N400 expedited automatically, was just curious to get similar timelines from military n400 filings to check if its true or not

i am actually a bit confused about the process after you get married and obtain your marriage certificate.
I heard you can apply for EAD separate without AOS and that way it s quicker to get your work permit but you ll end up paying some extra fees.
is this a real thing ?
Or is it better to apply for AOS and EAD at the same time ?
