Interview rescheduled :(

Background - AOS for K1 Fiance, married within 90 days to US citizen petitioner

Had a June 21 notice for an interview scheduled for Jul 27. We were going to be a out of town so had to reschedule our travel to be back in time.

And today we got a notice online (dated Jul 1) that due to unforeseen circumstances we have cancelled the previously scheduled interview on <interview date> for the above applicant. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. You will be notified of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice.

Wonder if the forum has any advice on how to interpret this. Any guess on if / when it will get rescheduled? Is the interview waived? So frustrating :(

RFE wording question!

Hey everyone,

I submitted my I-485 and all that in may of 2021. I got an RFE last month for a couple things, which isn t the issue. The issue is the wording on the back of the RFE letter.

it states:

please submit the requested form I-485 to the proper address according to the form instructions. The form instructions can be found on uscis.gov/forms. Include a copy of this letter when filing the requested forms.

what exactly do they want from me? Do they need me to also include all my original submissions, or just the original I-485, or something else entirely?

the wording is super confusing to me so I d appreciate it if anyone can help me out here! Thank you so much!

Hi,

I am in the part of submitting the document portion. They asked for my w2 or 1099 form but I have been working abroad in Taiwan so there's no way I have those forms. I'm wondering what I can do to pass this section. I am feeling helpless and don't know what I should do since i've been in taiwan and have been working here for the past 3 years.

My joint sponsor has her w2 so I will be able to submit that

I'm wondering if its better if my Taiwanese husband and I just go to america and restart the greencard process there. I just feel like we have been waiting for so long and can't seem to get out of this document portion that is needed.

Medicare for Immigrants

For lack of a better place, I am placing this topic in the General Immigration Forum: The subject is Medicare for Legal Residents

Although the audience might be limited, I think this might be helpful to some others...at some point later. I am 69 years old. I receive Social Security Retirement Benefits, and I (as almost all retirees), receive Premium-Free Medicare Part A. My lovely wife, who looks 25, will turn 65 years old in August. As a result, it is time to set up her Medicare coverage (it's actually required to keep her Tricare coverage). My research indicates that my wife will also qualify for Premium-Free Medicare Part A based on the following:

1. She will be 65 years old soon (Medicare enrollment is open 3 months before until 3 months after her 65th birthday month).

2. We have been married for 1 year or longer

3. I, her spouse, am older than 62, and I already receive Social Security and Premium-Free Medicare Part A.

4. She has been a legal resident for 5 years (next month).

She, like me and most other retirees, will have to pay for Medicare Part B.

This is pretty important (and a big, big relief to me) since people who do not qualify for Premium-Free Medicare can pay as much as $499.00 a month for Medicare Part A and an additional $170.00 a month for Medicare Part B.

just would like to ask if anyone know that after FEB 2022, if the EAD application approved, is there also a chance to receive a Combo card together with AP approval?

or it would just be the EAD card itself?

thank you for answering. thank you
