US Immigration from Russia

I have plans to travel to Moscow next week. Is it reasonably safe for an American to travel to Russia at this time? There s been at least one incident where an American was interrogated for 3-4 hours, shared in these forums. That person was traveling with a new passport. My passport isn t new and I was in Russia six months ago.

Im looking for advice and opinions. Is it too risky for an US citizen to travel to Russia at this time?

My wife is a Russian citizen and is currently outside of Russia. Our case is at the NVC stage and the only document we need is her criminal record paper. We currently have the criminal record as an electronic version from Gosuslugi. Can we print this version and translate and notarize it? Will this format be acceptable for NVC?

I (US citizen) currently have 3 cases with NVC for my wife and stepchildren. I filed 3 separate I-130 petitions for my spouse and her 2 children (both under 18 and unmarried). After talking with her kids, they decided they want to stay in their home country to finish school so they want to immigrate after my wife who is the principal immigrant. Since I filed all the petitions simultaneously, what options do I have to allow the kids to enter the US 6 months after my wife?

I am aware of "follow-to-join" but it does not apply to our case because my spouse falls under the immediate relative category and as a result, we can't add derivatives to her NVC case.

We are discussing in our WhatsApp group of Russian spouses about why the I-129F cannot be submitted electronically, but many other applications can be.

does anybody know exactly why electronic submission of the I-129F for K visas is not allowed? I ve looked all over for this answer and I cannot find the reason as to why! Thanks.

Russian K visa could take more than 2 years I am thinking, becoming hopeless, even they can t get a Mexican E visa now, feel so frustrated
