ASC Updates.pdf Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have experienced delays in scheduling or rescheduling application support center (ASC) appointments to collect biometrics. Current processing times are affected by several variables including demand and capacity at individual ASCs. The information below may help you understand what to expect with your biometrics appointment.

I am a US citizen filing for my sister who is located in Russia. As far as I understand, it will take around a year for my I-130 to be approved, but overall around 15 years before she can go to the interview and receive her permanent resident card and actually move to the US. She has a US visitor visa that is valid two more years. Can she still travel to the US as a tourist during this time? Will she be able to receive another tourist visa and travel? She can't move to the US and wait for her status, right? Otherwise it will not be legal and she will not be able to work or receive a SS number, correct? Thanks a lot!

We have sent a packet for Adjustment of Status for my wife and her daughters with the following forms: For my wife: - I-485 Adjustment of Status ($1,140 form fee + $85 biometric fee = $1,225)
- I-765 Employment Authorization ($0 fee as it was filed together with I-485)
- I-131 Travel Document ($0 fee as it was filed together with I-485)
For 10 year old daughter: - I-485 Adjustment of Status ($750 form fee as filing with a parent)
- I-131 Travel Document ($0 fee as it was filed together with I-485)
For 8 year old daughter: - I-485 Adjustment of Status ($750 form fee as filing with a parent)
- I-131 Travel Document ($0 fee as it was filed together with I-485)
Included one form G-1450 with authorized payment for $2,725 ($1,225 for wife + $750 * 2 for children). According to our calculations $2,725 is the correct amount. Yet all of the forms have been rejected with "The payment amount is incorrect, or has not been provided" reason. Does anyone have an explanation why the whole packet got rejected?

I am a US citizen filling in I-130 online for my sister, who is located in Russia. We have same parents on our birth certificates. However they divorced later and our mom has changed her last name (when she married her second husband). So my mom's last name in FULL NAME OF PARENT 1 section doesn't match my and my sister's birth certificates. Her current last name is different from her last name on our birth certificates. Do I need to attach and translate her divorce license from our father and her marriage license with her new husband (whom she divorced as well by now)? Thank you!
