US Immigration from Philippines

We received a messaged from NVC that my sons case is already at the US embassy. What To do next? Do we need to wait for the embassy to send us a letter for his medical or we just get our medical. NVC said it s already ready... but Manila is under ECQ AT THIS TIME... HELP PLEASE....

This is again the same reply i got from US embassy in Manila.

It does not matter what i do it is always the same.

I got US citizen child there( consular birth abroad), her own child got over 21 and can not come to US as k2 anymore, regardless i contacted embassy also of this aging out situation and response was the same, due to quarantine no visa processing available.

Statistics on travel.state.gov month of March 2020 has lots of k1 issued, than 16 march all closed, april/may 2 visas each month, but june 60 visas k1, july not there yet.

I been in contact with embassy 2wice a month and always same replies, they just turning me away. Phones don't answer, email replies with huge delays(2-3 weeks) and still saying no visa processing, online appointments not available to book.

Question is how people are getting interviews with K1 during this pandemic?

My case i think is brutally neglected, K2 aged out, k1 is alien mother of US citizen child stranded abroad(how about Trumps proclamations) and i was in communication with embassy all the time.

I am not trying to say i am special and have to go over everybody's head, but interview was 2 weeks due before all was closed and those proclamations and regulations guided me in direction ( or i was misled) that i can expedite but nothing happened, reply the same - wait for routine visa appointments gets resumed.

What grounds people have when they getting interviews as k1 during this pandemic??? And where to complain regarding embassy attitude? I feel i am piece of s.....t not a US citizen.

Hello, I filed an I-130 for my wife to have her sister join her in the USA, Its been almost six years and I have checked on it periodically. I even was put in contact with a lawyer who changed me 75.00 for a consult and couldn't help me or offer any other advice. I have been told that it will take 10 years for her to get approved. Is this correct. If so, Is there a way to petition for a different visa or to write a letter in hopes of getting her approved. My wife and I will be well into our senior years as well as her sister and there no guarantee that it will get approved especially with the way the word is now. Is here anything or suggestions that I can use to help speed up this process. The lawyer said that she should try and get a tourist visa for the meantime and he also suggested that she become a nurse and try to get sponsored in the US.

My Mother-in-Law's flight (Non-OFW) back home is scheduled, leaving this THU for Manila. She has to take a swab test when she lands and wait for clearance. Once she gets the paperwork, she then needs to get on a local Air Asia Flight to Bacolod Island....

My question is, will she (actually WE) have to pay for ANOTHER swab test due to going on a new (but local) flight and to a new island? She will likely fly 2-4 days after landing depending on how long the first results take...

We cannot find any information on this. I want to make sure we give her enough $ if that's required since she's NON-OFW and we have to pay for all of this.

Considering my wife's interview is coming up, I started reviewing all her docs and noticed the DS260 International Travel Section is blank.

I called NVC and she said she saw it on her end. Said the packet is electronically transferred.

I typed up her travel history so she could have it handy just in case

Are they only looking at info submitted to NVC or USCIS as well?
