US Immigration from Philippines

I need some help on how to check if NVC received my packet from USCIS. My case was approved on August 16th, since then I haven't receive any letter or confirmation from NVC. Thanks.

Woke up this morning to the news that my stepdaughter has received her interview appointment for November 13. Looks like Manila is finally trying to work through some IR1/2 cases!

If I pass my N400 interview and exam, I m planning to sponsor my mother for a Family Visa. I understand that the whole process will take a while and was wondering if she could apply for a Tourist Visa at the same time. I was hoping to spend time with her while my husband is on deployment in 2021. It would be nice to have her around since I d be by myself. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated

Effective October 5, 2020, we will begin offering limited non-emergency Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) and passport services at the U.S. Embassy in Manila and limited passport services at the U.S. Consular Agency in Cebu, by appointment only.

This is at least some good news for some of us.

Is NVC scheduling the date of interview at the Manila U.S. Embassy or is the Embassy scheduling or does the beneficiary try to schedule it with Embassy after NVC directs it?

Just asking. Looking for real current experiences. Thanks.
