Can somone please advise me if there is anything special we need to do when applying for a K1 Visa for a second time with a different person. I applied for one a few years ago which was approved but the relationship was not succsessful. I have a another relationship that started a couple years ago.. I would like to apply again for the K1 visa. I have all the paperwork ready to send in, but wanted to make sure if there was anything else I should do in regards to the application. Thank you in advance

So I just casually check the status of my wife and kids visa status F2A, since I got curious if there were any changes, supposed to have interview on last March but got cancelled because of the lockdown. So low and behold, I saw a refused status... Am not sure if this was already in a different thread but can anyone shed me some light? Probably a technical glitch for those whose interview got cancelled?

Does anybody know how long a case will be in "Ready" status before a visa will be issued? My wife did her interview at the U.S. Embassy in Manila (CR-1) on Dec 7....the status stay in "Refused" until Dec 16, when it flipped to "Ready" status. They took her passport, , my wife did not receive any 221g letter, the CO indicted he was recommending approval, and she also received the 2 white pieces of paper...lol....so I thought she be issued her visa fairly quickly. Does anybody have any experience with this???

Earlier this year I relocated from the Philippines to Denver to work on the petitions of my wife and adopted daughter who turns 18 in October. The adoption effectivity date is Oct 5 2016, but was finalized February 29, 2020. Then we had to get new birth certificates from the Local Civil Registrar and the National Statistics Office. Once we had all of these, we were able to get her a Philippine passport with my surname. She picks it up finally today. Meanwhile, I filed an I-130 for my wife and it has been approved and sent to the NVC. So, my question is this... today I will finally have my adopted daughter's passport number and I can already file an I-130 for her. But, once her mom's visa is approved (3-5 months from now), how can I best ensure my daughter's petition will be approved and her visa granted at roughly the same time as my wife's? Should I try DCF exceptional circumstances or file at USCIS online then request they expedite it?
