Hi all. My wife submitted the N-400 application for naturalization citizenship last summer. In December 2020 she completed her interview, and we have since received notice that she will be given an appointment for her oath ceremony soon. She and her son arrived in the US in July 2013. He was about 9 when he arrived, and he is 16 years old now. His 10 year green card is still valid, but I neglected to renew it during the 30 day window following his 14th birthday. My questions are about how to proceed with his citizenship after his mom completes her anticipated oath taking soon. Should I attempt to update his green card, or just proceed directly toward his citizenship after his mom completes her naturalization process. What will my next steps be to complete his citizenship before he turns 18 years old in 2022. Also, my wife has a 17 year old daughter still living with her dad in the Philippines. The daughter will turn 18 in November 2021. What steps should I take to provide her with the option to also become a US citizen before her 18th birthday. Thanks for reading.

Hi everyone, yesterday I became a US Citizen and have started filing the I-130 for my mother online It is asking for her marital status and I'm pretty confused what to select. My parents got a divorce in Australia however in the Philippines we do not have this making them technically still married. The only form of legal separation is Annulment which they have not processed because it costs a lot of money. Since there is divorce here in the US, do I select that and then she can provide the paperworks? or just select Married? Thanks in advance!!!

My wife s green card was lost in our recent house fire. I believe we have to file an i 90 form. My question is this. Since she s eligible to file for citizenship does she still the green card and if so what s the cost. With everything going on in our lives now we have to deal with this issue. But it s all good because my wife and son made it out ok. Thank you for the help.

Aloha! On February 11,2021, we got a notification for our case that an "Interview Was Scheduled". We are still waiting for the notice in the mail though. Does anyone have an idea of the estimated time to come in the mail? Thank you. Just a little anxious about it. Thank you so much.
