Super frustrated - what did we do wrong? Passport renewal

So we just blew a day traveling from MSP to Chicago to get my wife's passport renewed and issued in her married name at the Philippine Consulate. We had everything indicated on the instructions but my wife was told her ROM (original and photocopy) were expired. They sent her away and told her she has to reapply for her ROM, come back to Chicago and reapply for the passport. The officer circled #2 below and told her to reapply. She argued that she had applied for the ROM in May 2019 (we were married 5/17/19) because she was supposed to do that within a year. She was also under the impression that when she filed the ROM with the consulate, it was also filed with PSA. Wrong? And with covid, passport renewal was suspended last year so it's not like we could have gotten there within a year if we knew the ROM expires.

So what is the difference between filing for ROM through the Philippine Consulate and a PSA Report of Marriage? She wasn't alone - five others had the same issue during the 20 minutes she was there.

The officer circled #2 below. Can anyone clear this up for us?

A. For applicants who want to use their married name for the first time: 1. For applicants married in the Philippines, original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA, formerly NSO); 2. For applicants married outside of the Philippines, original and photocopy of the Report of Marriage (ROM) issued less than a year by the Philippine Consulate where the marriage took place. If ROM is more than 1 year old, bring original and photocopy of PSA Report of Marriage.

I have a friend that has applied for her mom on the I-130. It was approved Aug. 27, 2020. Is there anyplace to see the wait times or the average time before the interviews, medicals? The Manila Embassy has no time frame.

Thanks

Trying to get my address changed AR-11

Anyone else run into difficulties with this. It seems to be a fairly fast process compared with anything else with USCIS, but the accuracy is lacking.

We had I-130 and I-485 filed.

In early April we sent in an I-765 app and had to use the old address because we were still there.

The end of April we moved and I did the I-865 for me and a AR-ll for my wife.

The AR-11 (wife's) seemed to work although the city name was wrong but close enough the mail would find us.

The I-865 receipt said it worked but the online account profile addresses hadn't changed.

So I put in an AR-11 for myself and that worked after a few days but when I did the AR-11 I checked Mailing and physical address the same so when I was notified the address had updated I found the mailing address was still the old one. I put in another and forced in the correct mailing address so I hope that fixes that.

Then we got the I-765 receipt and apparently because it was filed with the old address, that overwrote the address back to the old one on my wife's profile so I'm putting in the AR-11 again.

It would be so much easier if I could just go in and edit the addresses in the profile but that would be too easy.

Case Held for Review

Hi,
My husband and I just had our AOS interview this morning and they are holding the case for further review. The immigration officer seemed unsatisfied with my not being able to remember my husband's address of where he lived when we first met, I remembered bits and pieces but not the full address, and he questioned the fact that we met on Facebook and seemed like he didn't like that answer. I know it is up to the individual officer but does this sound like reason enough to deny the adjustment of status?

This is so depressing and wondering if anybody is on the same boat from the Philippines. My mom filed for my dad s petition to come here, she is a green card holder. I understand because of pandemic things has changed and made a lot of delays. My mom filed October of 2019. Please share your thoughts and experience.
