Hello everyone, I have a question regarding my form I-751 (pending). I tried to renew my conditional green card last January 2021 jointly together with my husband. Unfortunately, our marriage was going down hill and he file for dissolution of our marriage. My question is our court date will be next month February 2022 to finally end our marriage. I have an upcoming initial interview on March 2022 for my I-751 but my problem is we are already divorced by that time. Should notify uscis that our marriage is dissolved or should I wait for my interview date to tell the uscis or the immigration officer on the day of my interview ? Please give me some advice to those who encountered this kind of situation. Thank you.

I am a US Citizen, i filed for an I-130 for my mom and dad. They are currently here with a B2 - Tourist Visa. I have received the I-797 receipt. Can they file for I-485 without the approval yet of the petition? Or should I file for an extension of their tourist visa while waiting?

My fianc e and her two kids are finishing up medical and interviews soon. We anticipate them being in the States at the end of February or early March. When they fly to the US in k1 and k2 visas, are they required to fly directly from the Philippines? Would they be allowed to transit (layover) through Japan or Singapore without any issues?

We have two questions concerning the I-751. Does USCIS have to have received the application by the green card expiration date or does the application just have to be sent by then? We don t have much transactions on bank statements showing commingling of finances (it is a joint account) will this be an issue if we have other evidence including joint leases, tax returns, mortgage, joint credit cards beneficiary for retirement and life insurance policy, and our 18 month old son?
