I just wanted to make a thank you post for all the years that this forum has been a resource for my wife and I. Yesterday my wife was sworn in. It's huge blessing to have this finally behind us now. Is it safe now to discard our USCIS paperwork from over the years now that she is a citizen? We kept everything...

Wifey is making me insane with this issue (haha), so I am going to ask here so I can get a concrete answer.

So, she was flagged for a sputum culture test. SLEC advised that the interview should still be performed, which (of course) resulted in a conditional rejection due to the testing requirement.

She just received the results on 3/14/2025 (negative), and SLEC said they forwarded the results to the embassy, and we should send all our 220g documents to the embassy for visa issuance, which for her was just her passport. She sent her passport to the embassy in Manila via the preferred courier (can't remember the name of it). She is going nuts because she is seeing people on TikTok who were on the same timeframe as us and same testing process getting their visas already. I told her for every one tiktok video she sees, there are likely 1,000 people waiting just like us, but she is still all freaked out.

So, my question is, how long should we realistically expect it to take from Sputum test results to visa issuance?

Hello, I am updating the I-864 in behalf of my mother for my upcoming interview this May. Can anyone tell me how to determine or calculate the 'Current Individual Annual Income'? The petitioner does not have fixed working hours. I m confused. Some say it should be based on last year s AGI from the tax return (2024), while others say it should be based on the last six months of pay stubs which I do not have the slightest idea how to do that. If its any help her AGI for 2022-43k, 2023-32k and 2024-35k

Also, Can I submit the 2024 Wage and Income Transcript to the CEAC portal even though it says, 'No Record of Return Filed'? I already have the 2024 Tax Return Transcript. For W-2s, I only have the ones shown in the attached image

Does my wife have to change her passport name to her married name after our petition is approved and sent to NVC? Pls advise!

Hello, I m a naturalized citizen since June 2024. My 17-year old son immigrated shortly after and received his Permanent Resident card in December 2024. Given the current political climate, is it a sound idea to apply for his N600? He will turn 18 in January 2026. Thanks in advance!
