My mom had her interview July 12, 2022. No questions were asked but they found my birth certificate hard to read. They asked for my birth certificate from our Local Civil Registry, in the city where I was born. So we got everything and mailed back to them together with my mom s passport via LBC. Now, I am just waiting. I checked status in CEAC , it just says ready. At the same time worried of the medical that will be expiring Aug 22. Hoping to here from them soon. Anyone here who has the similar experience?

Hi Everyone. Anyone here done with their form I 130? I have a question for the Filipino spouse, which document needed to submit? Is it okay if we submit the Local Civil Registry Marriage Certificate?. Thank you in advance. Your responses may help a lot.

Hello All, I received an RFE today and was wanting your opinion on exactly what they are asking for. I am taking it as they completely lost my I-864. I do have an exact copy of the original I-864 I can send, but am wanting to make sure they are not asking for more evidence. I know being self employed, and a good accountant. I show below poverty level as "adjusted gross income". I submitted my property tax, and a letter from the bank showing my house is paid off, and stocks that have my assets close to 7 figures. I didn't feel I needed more assets if that is what they are asking for. Any help is much appreciated. TIA copy RFE.pdf

I (petitioner) am the US citizen, My wife (beneficiary) is Filipino, but both of us are currently living in Japan. On the I-130 We listed our local US consulate here as the place to apply for a visa. We just got our NOA2 earlier this week, and are hoping to get all the papers for the next step prepared ASAP. So far we have started the process for: - Police Clearance from both countries - A new birth certificate (Philippine birth certificates expire, so we need a new copy.) - I-864 From both myself and my father living in the US as joint sponsor. And related financial documents We don't want to get thrown a curve-ball though, so I'm wondering if anyone else has any idea what other documents we might need to turn in.
