US Immigration from Philippines

"Payment for the immigrant fee to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) must be made online prior to departure for the U.S. at https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-immigrant-fee. If you move to another address after your arrival, you should update your information at https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do. The Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551 or Green Card ) will be mailed to this address within 45 days upon arrival and will serve as proof of Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) status."

We received this message in the email after passing the IR2 interview. However, the USCIS website says that you may pay the fee after arriving to the United States - USCIS - Immigrant Fee - USCIS Immigrant Fee "You may also pay the fee after you arrive in the United States. If you arrive in the United States and haven t yet paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee, USCIS will send you a payment notice with instructions on paying your fee. You will not receive your Green Card until you have paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee.".

We don't want to pay it because both of the parents (my wife and myself) of the IR2 applicants are U.S. citizens and to our understanding they can directly become citizens while skipping the necessity of receiving a greencard.

In any case, is it true that the USCIS fee must be paid prior to arriving to the U.S.?

I m getting ready to file for our removal of condition, do we need to file separate I-750 for me and my daughter who s a minor?

I don't know if I did this right or not. The NVC rejected 2 of my wife's civil documents because they weren't crystal clear, and we got RFE'd. I tried to improve them as best as I could and uploaded new ones. This was on June 1. As of Monday 8/12, the NVC says its working on cases submitted on June 5, but they haven't responded to our June 1 upload. Is there something else I should do besides just upload a fix? Thanks,

I am preparing the I-130 as much as I can ahead of time...

Can I prepare the I-130A for my fiance who is in the Philippines? Do I need to list myself as the preparer?

Employment Status - My fiance has not had a regular job since 2015 when she returned from a 2 year commitment in Malaysia. She was with her second husband in 2016, married in 2017, and then widowed in the beginning of 2022. She has a small cake business that is not registered that she makes ends meet with barely. What would be the best way to show this on the I-130A? Do I need to show it at all?

If I don't show she has an income could I use that as a way to expedite our petition once I file? Even if I do show her income it is very little. Something to the effect of she is now my wife and in helping her to keep her household there afloat and my own is causing financial stress that would be eased with an expedited petition so we are under one household.

This may seem like a really stupid question but when filling out the I-130 do I use my spouses maiden or new married name?
