We are using a lawyer to prepare our forms/package and it's been a bit of a (removed) the whole way.

Now that the package is finally ready to go and we've reviewed it, we are at our wits end with asking them to correct their mistakes.

We provided about 15 photos of us together and w/ others and included the date taken and a description of the event/names of others. We assumed they'd do the work to prepare it for presentation.

They put one photo per page w/out a date or description, just the picture by itself.

Since there is already been several back and forth's to fix errors, I'm just done with all of this and want to get this damn thing out the door.

If the photos don't have any corresponding information, is that going to be a problem?

I've read various opposing things such as "you should date and caption all the photos" to "I didn't send any, just provided at interview, no problems."

So can we send this as is or what?

Finally submitted my children's papers! Does anyone have a handy list/PDF of steps and documents I have to compile?

My aunt, who has an affidavit, will be the person who'll do all of the legwork back home. I want to make it easier for her and the children.

TIA :)

Hello Fellow Journey Folks,

I just wanted to start a new thread on Pending I-751 Transferred to NBC After Passing N-400 Interview, so other people in the same situation can find this resource specific to a "pending I-751 but was interviewed for N-400 and passed the N-400 interview", and issued a Form-N-652 with check marks on:

a.) "you passed the English test and the US history and government test...."

b.) "congratulations, your application has been recommended for approval..."

Please share your experience about:

1. Were you required to appear again for an interview at your local USCIS office to adjudicate the ROC?

2. How long did it take for NBC to come back to you from the time of notice that your I-751 was transferred to NBC?

3. If NBC waived an ROC interview, how long did it take them to return to you for the pending I-751 approval?

4. If NBC waived an ROC interview, how long did it take them to send you an oath taking ceremony?

Timeline/Info:

July 2021 - Filed I-751 by mail, paper application

July 2022 - Filed N-400 Online

November 2022 - N-400 Interview

December 2022 - I-751 NOA File transferred to NBC "in order to speed up processing", case receipt number unchanged from previous processing center Nebraska

Local Office: Tukwila, WA

Would appreciate your input.

Cheers

My mom's I30 is approved. We are just waiting for her interview date in Manila embassy.

She has criminal background. She was convicted 7 years ago. she was in jail for 2 years and was released. but she was convicted.

I know this is a ground for inadmission. I wonder if there are any here who had the same situation and was able to bring their loved ones in USA.

DS-160 Expiring - How do I associate the new DS-160 to the old MVR payment?

Good day,

My mother applied for a tourist visa in December 2021. Unfortunately, due to backlog, her interview is not until January 2023.

Based on the site https://ph.usembassy.gov/important-visa-information/#interview she needs a current DS-160 form within a year. Since there was a backlog with interviews, does she needs to fill out a new DS-160?
Per this site, https://ph.usembassy.gov/visa-update-consular-operations-visas-as-of-june-2022/ the MVR is extended until September 2023.
Questions:
1. Does she needs to fill out the DS-160 again?
2. If she does, how can she associate her new DS-160 with her MVR?
3. We are asking because the last time we help her apply, after submitting the DS-160, the system asked for payment and the form will only be valid if paid in time and associated to the DS-160 Confirmation id.
I appreciate any help on this one. Have a great day and take care!
