The only possible Joint Sponsor that I may have right now does not work anymore, but has fairly high retirement income. This comes from things like social security, military pension and being disabled. Is this going to be a problem? They also have 2 houses currently that maybe I could use as assets instead. Thank you!

Hi there, just another question to understand my situation. I'm currently getting financial documents in order for my wife's IR-1 case at the NVC. I believe that as the petitioner with a joint sponsor I only needed the most recent tax return and my 2021 income was really low, like maybe 12k or less. 2022 was much better, but still very low like maybe less then 20k still. My question is: For my household i believe that it's almost 41k income required. If my joint sponsor meets this requirement is my low income on my tax returns going to be a problem? Also I work for Uber and it's self-employed in a way, will that be a problem with documenting my income? This year my income has gone up quite a bit though, but still under the requirements. Thank you so much, sorry for too much info.

Hi All! Wife has her Citizenship interview in two days, going for that 4 hr drive tomorrow to be there on time. Anyways, she heard that sometimes both husband and spouse can be interviewed separately. I am the Husband, born in the US,, she is the Immigrant. I think that perhaps they may do that "if" they have a reason to suspect fraud or something along those lines. Due to the fact, she is making me dress up! LOL... Anyone (citizen spouse) have to be interviewed or questioned during your spouses Citizenship interview? As a side note, she's been studying since we filed so I know a whole lot more that I had forgotten about Civics.

Hello, I started my timeline with a visa for my husband and 2 sons. He hes decided not to come. Since then I have filed visas for my sons and became a US citizen. I would like to add or create new timeline. What is the best way to do that? Thank you!

Hello everyone, After over a year of waiting for the interview, my mom's visa got denied with 214g. She was asked 3 questions, what does she do, who will pay, and how long will she stay. Mom is over 60 year old. She answered that she works for the first question. My siblings and the entire family is still in the Philippines. She also cannot immigrate because her pension requires her to renew every year. Will it hurt if she re-applies immediately? Or that doesn't matter? Do you have any tips to increase her chances of getting approved? After the denial, I started thinking of the factors that could have affected, such as the time of the interview, etc. Thanks!!
