Hello! Are there any IR-5 applicants here who have not received their interview letter from the U.S. Embassy in Manila and were instructed to schedule their own interview? My parents were DQ d in June 2025. I called the embassy s hotline and spoke with several representatives, all of whom gave me the same instructions. I was able to schedule an interview, but I m just a bit worried they might ask for the interview letter at the VAC or during the medical appointments.

I just received a notice from the NVC stating, "The request for an Affidavit of Support fee exemption has been DENIED." I paid the online fee for my I-864, and there was no fee for my sister's I-864A, as she is a household member helping with support. I did not request any kind of fee exemption. I don't understand what this is about, or how I am to respond. Has anyone else ever received a similar message?

Hello Posting on behalf of friend. She is still conditional resident awaiting approval of I 751. Some time ago, after moving to a new apartment, she lost her green card during the move. After online request from USCIS, she got ADIT stamp on I94 card as proof of her status as she needed to travel out of country. Recently, after doing a big clean of her apartment, she found her green card again hidden under furniture. While she is happy to find it again, she is unsure what to do with it re: travelling and future applications like naturalization. Is the green card still valid for use for travel and re-entry into US? What should she do now that she has both ADIT stamp and green card? Will it give her issues with USCIS in the future?

Was looking at an example of DS-160 questions before starting my fiance actually filling out the DS-160 online. It appears there is a question: Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law? and the fiance presently has no vaccination records, but of course will have some when she exits from her Medical in the future. So is the response to this on the form NO ( provoking possible rejection/flagging at embassy) or YES (when at that point she has no such documentation) ?
