I get that we need to put the receipt number from the I-129F as the answer for question 3 but do we put the "Received Date" on the NOA1 for the I-129F in for question 4 as the "Priority Date"? I have seen answers on VJ here saying yes and others saying to put "N/A" so I am looking to see if there is any consensus on this? Appreciate any advice!

Rescheduled Biometrics Concern

Hi everyone! I m on a K-1 visa applying for a green card, and I rescheduled my USCIS biometrics appointment on a Friday. I picked a new date for Monday, but the notice said the updated PDF appointment form would be sent in 1-2 business days. I noticed that the PDF with the new appointment date is available in the Upcoming Requests tab, so I downloaded and printed it, but it hasn t appeared in the Documents tab yet in my USCIS account. Is it okay to go to the appointment on Monday with the PDF I printed from Upcoming Requests, or do I need to wait for it to show up in the Documents tab? FYI. The pdf I found is exactly the same appointment notice with the QR code too just with the new date scheduled. Has anyone else had this experience and was able to attend the appointment successfully? Thanks in advance!

AOS Self Employed.

So we have a immigration attorney doing our paperwork. I had my Brother being a sponsor, and he had initially filled out the paper work. We had to wait to submit, due to issues with obtaning clear copy etc of Wife's birth certificate, now brother and his wife have decided they can't be a sponsor (His Wife apparently is not on board with doing it now for some reason and re-filling out the pawer work). I did not have enough income at the time to do it myself. I now do have enough income, but being self employed its hard to prove all that income because many of my jobs are for customers who don't issue 1099's or W2. Some of my work is insurance company work, so yes, they do the 1099's. I have a auto repair shop and have had this for decades.

So out of a report on taxes 77K and then deductions leave me at 27K profit. While this is enough and meets the threshold of 25,500 for two, how do I prove the rest of my income? I can show about 29K on 1099's, but the rest was checks or cash. What I did do is print off bank deposits of my business account for the year 2023, and that is enough to show my gross sales in my business. I have cash and check deposts each month. Will Immigration accept those deposts as income since I can't show them all 1099's? If they have my tax returns for 2023 and about 1/3 of my gross income in 1099's, will they generally accept the bank depost statements as proof of my income? My Attorney says at times they don't want to go through bank statements, but how do us self employed people get this approved? Do we always have to a sponsor or co-sponsor? My concern is I don't know that I can come up with another sponsor/co-sponsor. I also have several collector cars that maybe I could use to make up what they say I would be short if I need to. Any advice? Attorney says lets just run with it, and see if it gets approved. If not, we get one chance to get it right, then I don't know what after that. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN AFTER THAT?

Preparing AOS Packet for after we get married - Fiancee Entered the country on a K-1 Visa

I have a few questions - Please forgive me if these are redundant, I have searched the forums and have not found solid answers for these questions. Our 90 day date for Jaycel's K-1 Visa is November 27, 2024. We are getting married on October 25, 2024 and plan to submit out AOS packet (I-485, I-864 & I-765) on November 18, 2024. We believe that this will allow us time to get certified copies of our marriage certificate, gather appropriate evidence of our marriage and co-habitation, co-mingling of finances, etc. My questions are as follows...

1. I have read that filing the AOS package before expiry of her K-1 Visa is highly recommended so that she is not out of status after the visa's expiration. Does the NOA-1 from the I-485 provide this status? Not sure how that works. If we file on the 18th of November, is that far enough in advance of her visa expiration on the 27th of November? I just do not want to put her in any jeopardy.

2. Since she is coming in on a K-1 and filing her I-485 within a year of her immigrant medical exam (That was done in Manila on August 6th & 7th) she is exempt from having to do another one. I have read that all she has to do is include her DS-3025 in the I-485 packet with a cover letter explaining she had her immigrant medical within one year and voluntarily complied with all vaccine requirements as indicated in the attached DS-3025. I have also read that she should make an appointment with a Civil Surgeon to have him fill out the vaccine portion of the I-693 based on the DS-3025 and include the sealed I-693 with the I-485. Which one is correct?

Thank you all in advance for your time providing any advice, answers, direction that you can!

Hello all,

Recently had my fiancee K1 visa approved and she will be coming here to the USA next month. I just had some questions on the process and filing of all related paperwork. What forms should I file and in what order so that she is able to legal stay and would be able to work as soon as she is legally allowed to? I am aware of the forms I-130 and I-485 but I wanted to make sure I am correctly filling them within the correct time frames and in the proper order. Also how are the fees for filing? Appreciate all advice and help from everyone. Thank you,

Matt
