Hello VJ members, I recently became US citizen and I have already applied for passport earlier this month which means that I have submitted original NC to DOS. Meanwhile, I am in middle of switching to new job and recently got a job offer letter from employer which I gladly accept it so the question is how do I have to prove to HR team that I am US citizen? All I have a photocopy of NC and I did not update my SSN since I became US citizen. Would photocopy of NC works? Anyone with similar experience can shed some light on that? Thank you all for help!

We sent my husbands AOS packet last Thursday (the 11th) and it left the Salt Lake Distribution center and on the 15th it updated as in transit no details on the location whatsoever. It was supposed to to arrive yesterday. Has this happened to anyone else lately?

My husband has a high school equivalent which he translated and certified (by a notary whose native language is also serbo-croatian). We noticed on the language skills that his high school diploma unfortunately does not list his English on the transcript and his grades or documentation showing his skills in English are unavailable. My husband put together instead a very eloquently put written statement about his background in English and his proficiency in it and explained that those materials are not available to us at this time. We plan to have this sworn statement notarized as well. Will this be sufficient?
