US Immigration from Nigeria

My husband and I case has been stuck at in Lagos NVC for over a year now. Our priority date is Jan 24th 2021 we have been waiting for an interview for a long time does anyone have any idea on when they will be sending out an interview dates and times? This wait is ridiculous and way too long I thought the embassy was moving faster. In the mean time I filed a 129F form for a K3 visitors visa I just got a letter today saying it was denied because they already approved my husbands 130 form. Is there any way around this wait? It's getting pricey to keep traveling from the US to Nigeria every 4-5 months I'm getting worn out. I need some positive vibes & energy today I'm a little bit discouraged. I'm just ready to start my life with my husband in the states already *sigh*

if you re born from 1992 upwards, you don t need attestation of Birth certificate for your interview because CO can verify your age with the NPC certificate number on your birth certificate issued by NPC(National Population Commission). You only need attestation of Birth Certificate if you re born from 1991 downwards. I didn t know about this till I was told at the embassy by the Nigerians that I don t need it but I came with my attestation.

This morning my husband went for his interview and was approved but was told he needs to upload and bring a different birth certificate. Does anyone know how long it will take to receive his visa after this?

WHAT HAPPENED WHEN US EMBASSY REQUESTED FOR A DNA TEST TO PROVE THE MATERNITY OF MY WAYWARD LATE BROTHER'S CHILD CLAIMED AS MINE?

I have my nephew listed on my application as my biological son and at the Visa Interview the CO requested that we should get a DNA test to show that the child is mine. Since birth, my brother and his girlfriend (mother) abandoned the baby with me as they described the poor boy as a mistake. In 2015, my brother eventually got killed in the cause of his hooliganism while all efforts made to trace the mother totally proved abortive even till date.

The boy is today 12 years old and in 2018 he was required to submit his birth certificate at the school, and I had no option left than to register his birth under my family's name. Thus, the birth certificate shows me and hubby as his mother and father respectively. This is the same birth certificate presented at the embassy.

I don't want to do the DNA test and need your advice pls.

Please what can I do at this point?
Is there any possibility of removing the Child from my application?
