Hello, we have been approved "DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED" for wife and children, NVC is passing on to consulate for interview appointment. They made a note that says: "This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p." I submitted full proof of income as Letter of employment, mid-year W2 and paycheck stubs showing full time employment and earnings. Is for family size of 4 which is $34k at 125% guidelines , my annual income exceeds this by around $20K? Should I be concerned? My wife will have all supporting documents at interview, any reason they would delay visa?

My husband got his police report a few months ago but it says it's only valid for 3 months. When he goes for his interview does he need to get a updated one or will the embassy accept it even though it's pass expiration date?

Hey guys. I had a combo interview Monday November 8th and was told I passed both interview and if additional documents is needed for my removal of condition that I would be contacted. My status on I-715 shows Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken. It was last updated 392 days ago and for the N-400 shows Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed. Should I be worried?

Hi everyone-

Here's the situation -

A friend just got his citizenship - under the three year rule. He immigrated from Sweden.

His American wife just filed for an annulment- and from all indications, will be granted the annulment in a few shorts months.

Question: Unlike a divorce, an annulment states that a marriage NEVER occurred. My friend from Sweden immigrated on the fianc visa, based on marriage and received his citizenship based on marriage.
If their marriage is annulled, is he on pace to be sent back to Sweden? Because by technicality, what he immigrated on (marriage), never exists? Or can he stay with the citizenship he just got?

I paid my AOS fee back in August it was processed and a receipt was issued to me as paid, I went ahead and submitted my documents which has been accepted as well but I went to my ceac I saw the AOS status change to pay now which I paid already and my documents are still accepted on the status. My question is should I just go ahead and pay the AOS fee again just to limit delays since I can t reach them on the phone to discuss the issue. ?
