My husbands sister will be our joint sponsor. She is married. My us partner who is the sponsor without enough income, will be at another adress. So petitioner and sister are not part of a household. Does his sister's husband have to fill out form I-864A since they file taxes together? Thank you Leon

Your NOA1 date, just some info. I see alot of people saying their NOA1 date is their "notice date", while in fact it's the "received date". For example: I-129f sent: 2020-12-01 Notice received: 2021-02-15 NOA1: 2021-02-15 So you sent your I-129f in December, received a notice in February. But since it only takes a couple of days to get to the Lockbox, your NOA1 is the date "they" receive it, so somewhere in December, like this: I-129f sent: 2020-12-01 Notice received: 2021-02-15 NOA1: 2020-12-05 Because some people put the wrong date in their timeline, the estimate approval date will never be right. I know you can't hold on to that, especially now, but still. I hope this is helpful

Hello all, I wanted to update the filing status on my timeline/profile from CR/IR to Lifting Conditions (I see other members having this on their profile) but I am not sure how to do that? Any tips?

Hi all, I (US Citizen petitioner) and my spouse whom I'm sponsoring currently live together in the Netherlands where I work now. Her case is currently at the NVC phase (i-130 done and approved) waiting for us to submit the I-864, IV application, and civil documents for 'Case Complete'. I might be getting a job offer back in the US soon which might require me to move at a short notice depending on if they let me start off fully remote or not. If I get the job offer on paper, I intend to at that point submit all of the documents for my wife's Case Complete and to wait for her interview date (either at the US embassy in Seoul in her home country, or Amsterdam where we currently reside) - which I understand might take somewhere between 1-3 months. Is it okay during this 'waiting period' for her to come with me to the US on ESTA (with a round trip ticket) and for me to explain to the border guard that I'm just simply having her in the US to support me emotionally and looking for things like our apartment together and being together whilst I start up my new job? Then, before her 3 months under the VWP is up, she will fly out to do her interview (or earlier if the interview date comes first). Would this pose any problems on her IV application and the interview? Does any one have any experience doing this? I am terribly attached to my spouse and really wouldn't like to be away from her while i get myself set up alone in the US; i lack pretty much any other type of emotional support so if possible I'd like her to spend most of that waiting period with me physically under the VWP if possible.

Dear everyone, Soon I am filing my AOS package from a K1 visa. I've read the instructions (I-864) about the tax transcript carefully, but i cannot quite understand which documents the USCIS will accept. The IRS won't let my main sponsor into her IRS account, at this moment she is unable to retrieve the official IRS transcripts from year 2019+2020. The joint sponsor who makes enough money by himself to support me was able to retrieve all IRS transcripts. As for the main sponsor; is it possible to file I-864 with 1040 + W2's? will this be sufficient evidence of income? The difference between the actual transcript and the 1040 is somewhat unclear to me. Please let me know if I am missing something here. Thank you.
