Hi,

I have been looking for an answer to this question for the past week without any luck. I applied for 485 adjust status back in 2020, got a notification that my file is transferred to an office and being reviewed recently. and last week i got RFE notification for I-693, medical examination. i originally submitted my medical exam together with my I-485 but it expired after 2 years and now they ask for it again. and since now they require covid vax record together with medical; I will be applying for a religious exemption for the vaccination requirement but THERE IS NO INFO anywhere whether;

- I should submit my I-601 together with my 693 medical report to the same office that is reviewing my case

- or submit 693 to the office reviewing my application AND I-601 to the direct filing office (texas) for pending adjust status applications

- or submit only 693 and wait for their feedback to submit/file for 601

any help is highly appreciated...

Thanks

August 28, 2021 - received RFE on November 16, 2021 for joint sponsor regarding a missing 1099 form. Uploaded shortly after request.

February 26, 2022 - Received three RFEs - will explain in more detail below.

On the CEAC website, all of my files now say 'accepted'. Still, I received three RFEs. The first two say, please submit petitioner s evidence of income . I have already submitted all of my documentation and my joint sponsor's documentation as it pertains to evidence of income. In addition, the third message simply said " This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrant. To avoid delays, an additional affidavit of support from a joint sponsor may be submitted. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview.

I have not received any message saying I am DQ'ed, despite all documents being accepted. I've read about similar issues on this forum, but none are especially clear. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do in this case? I have no problem submitting the documents on CEAC, but will this delay the processing of my case? Or could I just bring evidence of an additional joint sponsor to a consular interview?

Hi,

I just met with a law office where they mentioned it's possible to file an I-601 prior to consular adjudication. She said it could save time, but warned that if I get an RFE, I will just have 60 days to submit the consular's inadmissibility decision. Has anyone heard of doing this before? Curious to hear your thoughts.

Hi,

I looking for a lawyer to help with an I-601 petition for a visa overstay. I have found quite a few resources online, and I feel comfortable writing it myself. Therefore, I was hoping I could find a lawyer I could pay hourly to review my work. Has anyone done such an arrangement and/or could recommend a lawyer? I am abroad, so location does not matter as long as they are qualified. Thank you!

Hi everyone!

I want to know if someone can hide there travel history from the consular officer, like telling them you never traveled but definitely you did. It's not because you're a criminal but you can't provide a police certificate from that country you traveled to before because you use different documents in that country with what you are using in NVC. that country they don't have a record of you with that name and nationality. So any advice how to fix this should I you tell the consular officer that you never traveled or what? Please advices!

And is it possible to hide the travel history are they gonna know you traveled before. Do they work with foreign countries to know that.

Confused!
