Event Description

Embassy Review : Overall the interview was a great experience, I ran into some issues and everyone was very nice and understanding.
The interview only took about 5 minutes, it didn't feel like an interrogation at all, just a casual chat. The consul asked some general questions about my fiancé, his family, our relationship, and our wedding plans, then smiled and approved my visa.
Rating : Very Good

What were the documents asked?
Maplejungle on 2023-12-14 said:
Passport, birth certificate, police certificate, I-134 (+ most recent tax return, most recent w2, employment verification letter & evidence of US citizenship), DS-160 confirmation page, and 1 passport picture. I got all of my documents back except for the DS-160.

Did you use a joint(co)sponsor?
Maplejungle on 2023-12-14 said:
No, I didn't, just my fiancé. Not sure if the Hungarian embassy allows co-sponsors, I've heard that some embassies don't. I know they're very responsive via email, so maybe you could send them one and inquire about it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
