US Immigration from Haiti

My husband had his citizenship oath today. A simultaneously proud and humbling moment that we've waited five years for.

I just want to thank you, members of Visa Journey. When we started on a K-1 five years ago, I never would have thought it was possible to navigate this frustrating and unclear path on our own. But thanks to the guides and the forums and learning from you all, we did it! This site is an absolutely incredible resource, and I thank God for leading me here five years ago.

Has anyone gotten an interview yet?? Or an update on your case?? When I call I keep getting the embassy in the U.S because I can't speak creole! And all they say is, well we don't know anything about Haiti but expect to hear something real soon! I'm just sick of this process already!! Oh and all my paperwork was approved for NVC in June 2020.

Hello all just an update I got from the embassy because of the fuel issues in haiti the embassy has stopped all visas not like they were doing all visas. Questions

1. Do anyone know where they are for spousal visas

2. Have anyone had thier interview for spousal/family

3. How long have you been waiting since being DQ'ed

I attended my citizenship interview back in September. I passed the test but a decision could not be made. The immigration officer told me that she was waiting for my complete file to be shipped to her office and handed me form N-652. It s been more than 120 days now. I noted on the form N-652 she provided, it says that I can reach out to the officer about my case and attach a copy of the form. Is it worth sending a letter to my local immigration office to ask about the status of my case in hope that they will make a decision?

Hello guys! I just renewed my passport but the question is do i need to file a new ds160 and should i need to update my profile? And what about the interview do i have to bring both passport or just the new one? Any answer is welcome. Thank you so much
