US Immigration from Haiti

Hello All,

I submitted our K1 in Dec/2021. The process is taking longer than what we expected.

We really want to get married and start a family asap. We were thinking of getting married now at his home Country and apply for the 1-I30 visa.

My questions to you:

-Will we have to withdraw the K1 application?

-Will the processing time start from zero?

-Is it worth doing as far as timeframe?

My uncle was murdered in Haiti. This attack was premeditated and there is reason to believe there is a target on my family's back. I have tried to expedite this case last week with evidence included and they have refused. I called the embassy in Haiti and they are telling me to email again which I have done again again and i am getting no answer. NVC lines are suspended, what can I do? I am so lost. Our case is DQ OCT 2020. I do not think they even reviewed the expedite file.

I submitted a birth certificate after a RFE. 5 May 2022. I want to know how many people are DQ?

My husband has his interview coming up next month . After receiving the interview letter I logged to the ustravel website and did the visa delivery registration . Here s where the problem kicks in , I used his passport number on the registration but tomorrow he will go to renew his passport which he will get a new passport number . Should he bring both passports to the interview because we used the first one to complete the registration. Will we face any delays ?

I am IR1 petitioning for my husband who's in Port-au-Prince. We were documentary qualified May the 15th 2020. We received our interview later July 1st 2022 long ### wait..I know His interview is August 9 2022! Try to remain positive...I know it is dreadful..but hold on my people
