Hi all,

I've been scouring the forums since we submitted our application for AOS and I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what evidence to bring to the interview.

Obviously we need to bring originals of evidence that we submitted with our application in March (Birth certificates, Marriage certificates, passports, DLs, lease, etc.).

Should we also bring copies of evidence previously provided? For example, we submitted bank statements and utility bills from the day we moved in together until filing, should we bring copies of those to the interview or will updated bills and statements SINCE filing suffice?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if other people have seen a delay in getting the green card after the interview as well. I was approved on May 24 and got my approval notice in the mail like 2 days later. The online status hasn't updated from "Case Was Approved" at all. No "new card is being produced" or "card was mailed" updates. The average time to get the green card after the decision is like 8 days. It's been double that. I kind of need the physical card to apply for student loans. Anyone else here experiencing a similar delay?

Hope everyone is well.

On May 6, my fianc received an email saying that the NVC sent our petition to the Frankfurt embassy and we received the new case number.

I've been gathering all the necessary documents now, like the I-134 + supporting documents from my fianc , and I've submitted the DS-160 as well.

Unfortunately I still haven't received the letter/P3 with the checklist from Frankfurt. However, when I log into CEAC with the new case number, it's in status "READY".

Could I go ahead now, and pay the fee on ustraveldocs and send out all the documents (I-134 etc.) to Frankfurt, even though I haven't received the packet 3 letter?

I hope I make sense.

My fianc e completed her interview 3 weeks ago at the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany, however the Police Criminal Record was old (from last year) as we did not get a chance to get the new one in time for her scheduled interview. Everything else was fine, just that one document.

During the interview she was told to email the consulate once she has the original so that the consulate can provide an address where the original has to be mailed in. We have emailed them almost 2 weeks ago and still did not get a reply, I sent another email last week.

I am aware that the consulate is very busy now and answers on first come first serve basis, but just wanted to check if anyone had this experience at the Frankfurt, Germany consulate?

I have considered mailing it to the consulate address, but I dont want to risk that chance.

Anyone had this experience by any chance?

which option do I need to pick? I feel A and B are applying to me.

I have been married to my USC husband since 2006, LPR since 2008. Still married and living together and my husband is a natural born citizen.

Also, he is in the military, is there anything I need to do differently or is it the exact same process than for civilian applicants?
