US Immigration from Germany

Hello,

My fianc e completed her interview 3 weeks ago at the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany, however the Police Criminal Record was old (from last year) as we did not get a chance to get the new one in time for her scheduled interview. Everything else was fine, just that one document.

During the interview she was told to email the consulate once she has the original so that the consulate can provide an address where the original has to be mailed in. We have emailed them almost 2 weeks ago and still did not get a reply, I sent another email last week.

I am aware that the consulate is very busy now and answers on first come first serve basis, but just wanted to check if anyone had this experience at the Frankfurt, Germany consulate?

I have considered mailing it to the consulate address, but I dont want to risk that chance.

Anyone had this experience by any chance?

which option do I need to pick? I feel A and B are applying to me.

I have been married to my USC husband since 2006, LPR since 2008. Still married and living together and my husband is a natural born citizen.

Also, he is in the military, is there anything I need to do differently or is it the exact same process than for civilian applicants?

Hey guys, I hope you can help me with my predicament.

Here is my current situation:

Start date of new job: June 16th

Green card: Expires June 14th

Driver's License: Expires June 14th, but is also lost (I have a paper replacement update card). Will immediately go to the DMV to get a it renewed/replaced once I get the extension letter.

Social Security Card: I think I have it somewhere, but it has "Valid for Employment only with DHS Authorization" written on it.

Extension letter: Hopefully arriving soon. I have recently filed I-751, and my credit card was charged the 680$ on May 30th. Based on current timelines, I am predicting the letter to arrive within the next few days (fingers crossed). Informed delivery hasn't shown anything yet.

Has anyone else been in a similarly messed up situation? I know I shouldn't have procrastinated so much, but I hope and pray that everything will work out.

So what would you guys do if you were in my situation? I still have two weeks. Would you just submit the expired GC + extension letter combo when it arrives?

I m helping out some friends file their Adjustment of Status, and I got some questions and they do as well:

The now foreign spouse entered on a K1, they married within The 90 day period. They entered in 2017, and just now are able to file for the AOS, which I know is well beyond the typical 90 day thing.

first question to top off things:

- do you think this situation requires a lawyer considering the amount of time that has passed between arrival and now? the foreign spouse did NOT engage in any employment and they also did not violate any laws (excluding the failure to file AOS), the US spouse also has a clean record. They also never left the US since and they were lawfully admitted with the K1.

- when they file the AOS, I assume all they need to file is the I-485, I-864, , and a renewed medical examination? (If they want to work they can file I-765, and any other optional documents)

- are there any special handlings regarding this since the AOS is being filed so much later than the arrival?

The foreign spouse is a parent to a US citizen as well, if it makes any difference.

I am currently preparing to go into court with the biological father of my two children over the I-130/N-600 process for my children. My lawyer has asked for information which I find almost impossible to research - and I hope one of you may be able to point me into the right direction.

I am a US citizen who naturalised in 2020 but lives abroad with my two children under my (second) husbands US military orders. My children do not have a US LPR status.

Are my children at a disadvantage without a legal immigrant /US citizenship status when we travel to the US? Can they be returned back "home" because CBP suspects an immigration intent because their mom and stepdad are US citizens?

My lawyer would like to argue that the kids are at a disadvantage and could potentially be turned away at the border given the surge of unaccompanied children. But my lawyer is by no means a US immigration lawyer but instead a family law based lawyer in Europe.

Is there anyone who could help out with arguments?
