US Immigration from Germany

Hi guys,

so on January 3th my husband filled out and signed form i 864.

for the three most recent tax years, he put the years 2021, 2020 and 2019.

is this correct, or should we start with 2020 as the most recent tax year ? In his case it doesn t make a big difference income wise because he did not have any income in 2021 and 2020 and we have a joint sponsor to help out.

Our joint sponsor has also already filled out the form with 2021, 2020 and 2019 named as the most recent tax years. We are now waiting for her to file 2021 taxes in February (she already has a W-2 for 2021) and then attach the new tax transcript from 2021 along with the ones from 2020 and 2019.

is this the correct way to go about it or should my husband and the joint sponsor put 2020, 2019 and 2018 as the most recent tax years ?

We are unsure because it s January and we don t know if the NVC will accept 2021 as the most recent tax year yet.

I filed my children s n-600 applications early January from overseas. As international mail can be challenging at times, I would like to set their USCIS accounts so that I can track their applications.

When trying to enter their case number IOE etc. it s asking me to enter an Access Code which is nowhere to be found on their I-797c letter. Or are we supposed to receive another one with additional information /access codes?

Or is there no access code because the kids are minors?

I have expedited my I765 last week over the phone.
How soon after that does the status for my case number change?
It s still on being actively reviewed since November. Should it have changed right after I spoke to USCIS agent?

Hey there,

I entered the US on a K1 visa. We got married and I got my conditional greendcard, which is soon to expire.

Now we would have to apply for ROC, but the thing is, that I will be mainly in my home country the next two or maybe even three years, and were going back to long distance for this time, before I want to move back to the US.

Now... what can we do? What are our options?

Ich werde aber in den n chsten 2 evt sogar drei Jahren meinen Hauptaufenthaltsort in Deutschland haben.

Wie gehe ich da am besten vor?

Trotzdem beantragen? Oder erst in 2 Jahren eine unconditional green card beantragen?
