US Immigration from Dominican Republic

Hi everyone,

Are B2's currently processing in the Dominican Republic? (And if not, where do I look to check on their status?) Can a person submit a B2 application even if they aren't processing to wait in line for when they are processing again? I understand it's an uphill battle in the DR but she has a job, property and can afford the fee, so why not? We are hoping our relative comes for our wedding (next year-ish sometime whenever K1 is hopefully approved!) for a few weeks.

What is typical response time to an expedite request (directly to embassy)?

I would think that if it s for medical emergency, the response time would have to be quick. Thoughts?

Has anyone ever received an embassy response on a weekend? Specifically waiting on an expedite request response via email. Just curious

I summited i130 on june 24 I received the receipt number that they received it. How long before I get NOA2? What s next ?

Hi guys. I will hopefully have my interview for K1 soon. My fianc is divorced. Do I need to bring the original or certified copies of the divorce decree to the interview or regular copies would be ok?
