“Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed”
Your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number XXXXXX, was completed, and your case must be reviewed.

I had my interview in another state. me and my husband had to travel for over 15 hours to get there. I changed the address with them previously and they sent it to my old address. We told the officer that and the officer checked in the computer and confirmed that we indeed changed the address, After the interview my officer said that she needs to send everything to an officer in the state I’m in so he/she make the decision.

My I-130 is approved.

Is there any factors that could impact some sort of delay? When I should like “okay I need to contact somebody” ?

That ever happened to you before?
What can I do?

If the interview was only two or three weeks ago, that is very short in US immigration time, so just be patient and wait.  Sending the file to another USCIS office takes time, then it sits while an officer gets around to reviewing it, then makes a decision, updates the files, sends you a notice, etc., so it is impossible to predict how long all of this will take, maybe a few weeks or months...  good luck!

I got that status, and waited about 60 days for them to finally approve it.
I contacted USCIS around the 1month mark, and they told me to give it another 90 days, so, they probably have a max of 120days.
You gotta just wait it out and see. And yes, it super sucks lol

Thanks! That helped me to feel better, USCIS has screwed me over so many times before! So I needed that “estimate”
