How can I go about using my savings in Lieu of earnings? This is for a I-130 Spousal Visa, from Colombia to the United States, thank you all in advance!

The NVC sent our case to the Bogota embassy and updated it as "Ready" 14 days ago.

We have not received the instructions package and called the embassy last week. They said the case was ready and that we can schedule the interview, and so we did, however we are aware that we need the instructions letter to be able to interview.

We have not received the letter yet, how long is it generally taking for the bogota embassy to send it? Seems a bit concerning that they say it's ready by phone, yet we get nothing.

Hi all hope you well, I have submitted all documents to CEAC website, today i received an email that I am DQ but also received a message saying I need to add W2-1099 for hubby, so does this means that I go back to the queu and in 14 days we will again the DQ or regardless we are now through. Also my hubby didn t upload his recent Tax return from IRS but rather the document his tax preparer did. Do you recommend to on this stage add the return?

I am searching what civil documents my mom has to bring to her interview appointment. When I search on travel.state.gov, I don't see the IR5 classification. All I see is an "I" classification. Is that it?

Hello everybody:

My mother in-law's IV was approved, she received her passport with the visa in it, however, no envelope was received (the one you are not supposed to open and give to the officer at POE).

When she went for medical examination, all the results were sent to the embassy digitally, she did not have to go to the interview with any papers.

Is this normal now? she wont have to carry an envelope at POE? there is a notation on her visa that reads: "IV DOCS IN CCD" what does that mean?
