    When I check the CEAC . I don’t see a status, if in process, ready or anything. And I haven’t received any letter from NVC. So I am assuming that I should wait then.

    The NVC sent me a case number and a invoice number but in the email it states that they will let me know when it is sent to the consulate. However when I check for the case it says that I need to do a DS-160 before the consular section process the case. Not sure if I should wait or fill out the application.
