  1. Is this what you did? We received an email saying we had to book an appointment
  2. I guess I should clarify, we are not picking up the visa at the embassy. It’s a different location. The location for pickup is the same location that my fiancé had her fingerprints done last week before her interview
  3. So we were approved last week and received an email this morning instructing us to make an appointment to pick up the visa. After making the appointment the email received says something about doing fingerprints and bringing DS 160 form. Obviously this is incorrect but I’m not sure what’s going on. Has anyone had a similar issue? This is the Bogotá embassy
  4. So next, you have to wait for Bogotá to receive the case and then once they send the welcome packet you can schedule the interview? Is that correct?
  5. Yes and no. They are slowing down with the overall number of September cases processed because there are only about 1,000 September cases left out of 3,000. But this update here looks extremely slow due to the late update mentioned. I’m sure the next day’s update will look much bigger because it will actually be more like 2 days in 1. For example, there’s no way there were 0 approvals in September yesterday. The update is just slow
  6. Our case was just approved!!! I had checked a lot today and thought I would look one more time before bed. To my surprise, the approval was there for December 13!!! NOA1 was Oct 4, 2021
  7. Don’t give up hope. We’re almost there. I had to tell myself this week to try to relax and just let the time pass and after a relatively short amount of time, we have many many years ahead to be with our loved ones. It’s extremely difficult but we’re almost there 🙏🏻
  8. With the current wait times I would also consider going the route of of the marriage CR1 visa. When we submitted our petition in Oct 2021 the wait time was 7-9 months and now it’s 15.5 Please don’t take my word for it because I have done very little research on the CR1 because we chose K1 but had I known it was going to take this long we probably would have chose a different option like me going to my fiancé country to get married first
  9. Thank you for this great info! Also seeing so few denials helps calm my irrational fears of a denial for no reason. I guess that’s what so much waiting can do
  10. Is there anyway to quickly know for the 10/01 group how many of those 30 were approvals, RFE, etc. ?
