State ID for Proof of Status?

Hello everyone,

I am about to submit my I-864. My mother is cosponsoring my wife as we both live in China so my income does not qualify. My question is, can my mother's state ID be use as Proof of Status when I am adding her as a Joint Sponsor on the CEAC website? It isn't given as one of the examples to use.

If not, we can use her passport but she remarried a couple years ago and changed names. Would I need to add her marriage certificate later to proven the reason for a name change?

I appreciate any advice you can.

Thank you

Jared

My I751 has been stuck since May 2021, until it changed to case transferred to NBC last week. I also have a pending N400 case. I'm wondering what does it mean. Does it mean an IO at SF touched on my case of N400 or something else?

I-864 Affidavit of Support

This is a little unusual, as most of us are. 1-year, almost to the day, my 1-130 for my wife was approved. So I'm now working on the I-864. This is our second time through I applied 8 years ago and she got a green card, along with my stepson. She gave hers up when we moved to Portugal. He didn't. Now he lives and works in the US.
In the I-864, Part 3, it asks about the Immigrants I'm sponsoring. Since I'm still liable for his support, it seems like I'm still sponsoring him. But he's already in the US; not coming within 6 months or after 6 months of my wife. I assume it means Who am I Sponsoring on this I-864 because in part 5 (Sponsor's Household size) it asks about other people I have sponsored, previously.
So, I believe I should ignore him for part 3 but include him for part 5.

Another interesting thing is when it asks for my physical address it has a space for country. But I thought only people residing in the US were allowed to sponsor family immigrant visas.

Having done this twice, and looking at the changes USCIS has made, I can see they've made some things simpler. But I've gotten older and less capable, so its a wash.

221(g) reason need original divorce document

My wife went for her interview on Aug. 15th. She received an 221(g) due to bringing a copy of my the (petitioner) divorce paperwork.

On June 8th, I the (petitioner) went to the Consulate in Guangzhou, China and they asked to see my original divorce document when I filed the I-130, the document was accepted no problem and returned to me. So when my wife went to her interview she forgot to take the original and brought a copy.

So she was given a 221(g). On Aug 16th she mailed the original divorce document to the consulate. Our guess is that they received it on Aug 25th as that was the first time here status updated.

On Sept 9th we received an email copy of the 221(g)

Dear Applicants,

Under the section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, the Consulate General is unable to issue you an immigrant visa (IV) at this time. If you have already submitted your passport to the Consulate General, we will keep your passport with your file pending the issuance of your visa.

** Please note that documents issued in China must be translated and notarized by a local notary public office in China. For documents issued in other countries, applicants must obtain an original or certified copy of the requested documents.

My name: Please submit an original notarized/ certified copy of Divorce Certificate

Please submit an original or certified copy of the divorce certificate. We cannot accept photocopies.

This is really frustrating, as we have already sent them the original divorce document. Not to mention they say, provide Original Notarized in one place but two other places say the Original document is fine. In addition, when my wife went to the interview the VO said she only needed to provide the original document. Which they now already have. The original divorce document was issued by a U.S. county court.

Can any offer advice on how to proceed?
