US Immigration from China

Just a note about using cards to file more than one petition at a time. When a bank, Capital One for example sees two charges for the same amount from the same "merchant" it triggers an alert requiring a response from the cardholder in a timely manner. Without the timely response, the charge is declined, resulting in the file being returned to sender. The same CAN happen for large single charges when purchasing from a NEW merchant. In this case the merchant is Dept. of Homeland Security.

Good day to you all! We are applying for CR1 visa and have received the appointment letter from NVC. It shows the steps we need to follow before the interview and the first step is to register for a document delivery. I've previously registered for a nonimmigrant visa, so I followed the instructions and pressed For NVC scheduled appointment and updated the info to the last page, that shows a barcode DS 160. From my understanding, DS 160 is for non immigrant visas, so I don't know what am I doing wrong? Also home page doesn't show any appointments. And it says something about that the Ds 160 barcode should match the one we receive in the letter from the consulate. We haven't received anything from the consulate. I thought the consulate should send an email with appointment confirmation?

My wife's Chinese nephew has a 10 yr visa from 2016 till 2026. He wants to come now to visit. Does he have to update it or do anything before he can book a flight and visit. Thank you.

Has anyone gotten pushbacks from trying to get your passport stamped? Do I have to make up a real emergency story for it to happen? Last time I was told that I'd get a call within 30 days, then at the 30 day mark, I got an email saying something like "...there's no appointment available...."

What are your strategies?

We haven't traveled to the PRC since naturalization, so of course we would travel on our USA passport when we do. We still have our valid PRC passport, how do we return that to the PRC government? When we travel, before or ???
