First Name Change during I-129F process

My fiance was in the process of changing his first name while we were waiting for our I-129F paperwork to be approved. We use his previous name on the paperwork since it had not yet legally been changed. We just received our approval but now his name is different? Is there something we need to do to make sure there are no hiccups for the rest of the K1 Visa process?

No it s better done later than not at all. File your I 751.

I was reading this thread and came upon this. I'm about to mail my I-751, I have added our new current address as our current and of course previous where it said to. Am I needing to file this change of address as well? I had assumed I didn't just because I had to file for ROC anyway and they'd get our new address that way. But I could have misunderstood that.

Gathering proof

I have been married to my husband since 2013. 10 years.

I am finally going to apply for citizenship. Do I need to show proof of our marriage for the first 3 years (2013,2014,2015) or can I show current proof? I don't have bills from 10 years ago anymore.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Florida Drivers License Exchange

Hi all!

I went into the DMV on Oct 5 to exchange my license, which seemed to go fine. They gave me a receipt back and a temporary license and on it, it says they are verifying my legal status and will take up to 60 days. I haven't seen anyone else have to do the 60 day wait before on the forums so I'm just curious to hear if anyone else did.

I looked on the FLHMSV website and it says nothing about a 60 day wait period for immigrants. I do see a 60 day wait for non-immigrants getting a Florida license.

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I-90 for 14yo...New GC received nearly 3 years later...

Just an interesting musing for people who might be interested. We filed Kid1's I-90 when they turned 14, as required. This was nearly 3 years ago. We received Kid1's new greencard in the mail on Friday. The expiration date has been extended from 2030 to 2033, too. They won't need the 10+ years as we'll be applying for US passports in December after the kids complete some international travel next month. It just surprised us because we hadn't given it much thought!

Kid1 is happy because biometrics meant an updated photo and although it's not super updated, the difference from the original to the most recent is pretty huge! The later is definitely more representative. Hopefully said child won't be disappointed in their passport photo
