US Immigration from Canada

Hi there.
I m wondering if anyone has any info on the process and timing of interview letters when you ve been granted an expedite and the consulate seems to be doing the scheduling as opposed to NVC (not sure if this is in fact how it works, but it reads that way).

Context:
DQ d Feb 15 granted expedite same day
Case Ready on NVC site Feb 28
Montreal Canada embassy.

Looks like non expedited cases DQ d in Jan received their letters overnight.

Applied for I-751 at the start of the window proceeding 90 days prior to expiration of conditional GC in December.

Left for international travel in beginning of January right after application for I-751. Arrived back to USA Jan 27th, and found in the mail the I-751 and a biometrics for Jan 26th, day prior.

Went to multiple field offices attempting a walk-in during slow periods towards end of day and rejected every time at all of them.

Called USCIS number and requested a reschedule and provided reason and uploaded proof that I was out of country entire time and came back 1 day after biometrics was scheduled.

30 days passed, and no reschedule.

Call again, and requested it again and was told that sometimes they don't review it and don't get to it in the first 30 days but will definitely in the the next 30 days.

GC expires on 3/24. I am leaving on 3/7 out of USA until 4/14 as of right now.

Will have neighbor monitor mail and will now monitor online account now that I have this case added to online account.

I am assuming that the only correct course of action is that if there is no reschedule notice in the mail by 3/23 in my mailbox, that I need to take a flight on 3/23 back to USA since if I return back after that I could be in a precarious situation due to the possibility that the "case abandoned due to no biometrics appt fulfilled" at any time and no PR status after 3/24.

Correct understanding?

What a headache over 1 day missed biometrics, but stupid me for not thinking to have neighbor watch mail for USCIS while I was gone in January. Didn't except it so fast.

I recently just learned about this app, and I'm travelling home for Easter.
Previously it didn't let greencard holders to use the app, and now it does. I'll be travelling through the airport in Montreal, and its in their list of available airports, so thats not a worry either.

It didn't make me scan the card at all, so I was wondering what happens once I hit submit when I get to the airport going back home(USA). Mostly wondering to know if its just easier to do the regular customs line than have a hassle in the MPC line is all.

Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I am being proactive and getting all required civil documents for the NVC stage. One of which is police certificate. I am Canadian and went ahead and got my RCMP police certificate. My PD date is April 28, 2023 and am being very optimistic. I am getting mixed information on how long this certificate last for and when does it expire.

I ve got my biometrics scheduled for March 21th and I got the information through Ask Emma and access code. So I got online and got an earlier date (March 5).

The issue is that I still haven t received my NOA1 or the even the original biometrics letter, and it says to bring that to the appointment. Will that be an issue if I still don t have it by then?
