Hello your responses are highly appreciated. Do we have to submit the bank statements and pay slips of the petitioner along with i1864 and tax transcripts ? Is it necessary? And if its necessary how many months bank statements and pay slips are needed?

Good news, I passed my interview! But I didn't expect this to happen - at the start of the interview my IO explained that he was changing my application to the 3 year rule, rather than the 5 year rule I had applied under (which I qualify for). He said this was "easier" since they only needed to go back 3 years for my travel, work history etc. Thankfully he didn't ask for any additional information/proof - I had already uploaded my marriage certificate just in case. I wanted to share this since I've mostly heard of the opposite happening in interviews (officers changing a 3 year to a 5 year). But I walked out with my approval and my status is updated to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled." It was just unexpected!

Hi! I'm going to be moving to the states this summer on a CR1 visa, does my husband need to be with me when I cross over (either plane or car) for the first time or can I go alone? Thanks.

Hello! Our petition was finally approved after waiting since September 2022. My fiance is the USC and received the I-797 today. I had a question regarding the validity date, it says Valid from 05/17/2024 to 09/16/2024. Does that mean I should be moving to the US by that date? I'm curious to know how fast the next steps are going to go. I had planned a trip to go back the US on July 25th until October 20th, will I receive the NVC letter and interview date by then or is it most likely to be after? I'm not sure if I should cancel the trip based on that. The trip was booked at the beginning of the month. I'd love some help and to be enlightened. Really excited!

Hey everyone, I have my interview in about 3 weeks and noticed last week a few mistakes on my DS260 that our attorney says are immaterial (honestly forgetting to include something, misunderstandings, etc), but to make a list and bring to the interview for correction/addition. I m wondering if others have been in this situation too, and how the interview went with bringing in a few corrections needed? Thanks!
