US Immigration from Canada

I just received the I 797C form, has anyone received it before? Not sure why I received this. I recently crossed over to activate my CR1. I already received my SSN, I'm just waiting for the physical PR card.

I wanted to share my current situation.

My wife, daughter, and I live in canadian border city(Windsor) Ontario, Canada. My wife and I are Indian-born Canadian citizens, while our daughter is a U.S. citizen who will be turning 21 next month. She is currently in her final year at a university in Canada.
In a nutshell, we all currently live in Canada.

I have a few questions:

1) Can our U.S. citizen daughter apply for her parents' green card while living in Canada, or does she need to move to the U.S. first after turning 21 to apply?
2) Does she need to have any income to submit the application for her parents?
If she moves to the U.S. and doesn t have a job, and I(Father) find employment in the U.S. on a TN visa, Would my salary allow her to apply for her parents green card to meet the income requirement since I would be working in the U.S.?

Hello All,

My wife had her interview for CR1 visa at the Montreal consulate and it went very well she got verbal approval and the case status on CEAC changed the next day to Issued final processing. Our appointment was September 17th we have yet to receive any tracking number for the return of her passport and visa packet. Does anyone have a timeline of how soon they received their packet? Wife lives in the Vancouver area.

Please let me know if I am reading the I-751 instructions correctly...

Based on this section: Only over seas people need to provide passport photos? If I reside INSIDE the USA at time of filing, I DO NOT need to submit passport photos with my filing?

Hi all, my interview is in few days. When I booked my medical they told me I had to bring a proof of Covid vaccination of less than 12 months. But I do not have it. Has anyone had their medical and interview in Montreal recently. If you didn t have it how did everything go? Did you get the visa?
