US Immigration from Canada

This has been mentioned in some various other threads, but deserves a topic post of its own:

last week Montreal began rescheduling cancelled interviews from March.

A group of us awaiting further rescheduling is anticipating Montreal may be moving forward on a weekly basis for setting dates at this time; this upcoming week shall prove or refute this theory.

Hi, quick question! I m currently holding a permanent residency in Canada and my card expires in 2years. I m in the process of adjustment of status here in US. I m wondering if I need to cancel my Canadian permanent residency to get the green card or just wait for the Canadian PR expires? I m just not sure if having a permanent residency in a different country will affect getting the green card here in US or it doesn t really matter.

All bets are probably off given COVID but I would love to hear any experiences of the naturalization interview and oath ceremony in Buffalo.

If you did them on different days, how long after your interview did you take the oath?

What is the process to extend the expiration date of our NOA2? And do we contact USCIS or the NVC for this?

Unlike most countries, Sweden did not go into a lockdown when the pandemic spread across Europe in early spring. Instead, there was an emphasis on personal responsibility, with most bars, schools, restaurants and salons remaining open.

Despite the more relaxed approach, only 7.3% of people in Stockholm had developed the antibodies needed to fight the disease by late April -- well below the 70-90% needed for herd immunity.

By early June, the country's coronavirus death toll was at more than 4,500. According to Johns Hopkins University, it now stands at 5,802.

Much of the criticism around Sweden's response has focused on the high death rates in care homes. Sweden's chief epidemiologist Anders Tegnell admitted in June that the country's Public Health Agency "didn't know that there would be such a big potential for the disease to spread in elderly care homes, with so many deaths."
