US Immigration from Canada

I have received the 797 which extends the green card by 48 months and have a trip to Canada planned. I just received an approval for the 751 i have filed in September and it says :

"You should not travel outside the United States until you receive your new Green Card, as you may have difficulty reentering the United States. If an emergency arises and you have a need to travel outside the United States before you receive your Green Card, you may make an appointment at your local USCIS office to request an I-551 stamp in your passport that shows temporary evidence of status as a lawful permanent resident. Please be aware that USCIS field office management determines whether to issue an I-551 stamp on a case-by-case basis. To make an appointment at your local USCIS office, please visit www.uscis.gov."\

is this just boilerplate language or does this override the 797? Very confused by the contradictory language.

Hi- I ve been in California for 4 months now visiting my parents. I m a Canadian citizen and entered the US with the intent of just visiting but I ve decided now that I would like to stay here permanently if legally possible.

I ve read that even though I wasn t issued a B visa that I m technically in B status? I m over 21 and my parents are naturalized US citizens . Is it possible to adjust from this B status to a permanent resident application and remain here?

After 832 days since filing the 130 and 630 days since we switched from consular to adjustment and the 130 was approved yesterday and 485 today without an interview.. on my wife s birthday! It took much longer than we wanted but oh well. We ve been married 2.5 years so here s to skipping removing conditions !

I am the beneficiary in an I-129F petition.

We expect our petition to be approved and adjudicated soon.

I have the ability to end my tenancy at any time starting two months from this point.
I have the ability to move in with my parents to conserve resources when those two months are up.
I am afraid of giving notice and then occupying space at my parents for 'longer' than expected.

At what point do I start assuming the affirmative with regards to my process and give notice on my apartment?

Assuming the interview goes well, is it safe to begin planning to do so when the interview is in sight?

My spouse was issued a DS 5535 and is planning to drive into the US to visit me. Does anybody hae any experince to share about crossing a land border into US after getting DS-5535. Thanks.
