My husband and I just got married last weekend in Canada (we both live here). I am dual citizen. He is only canadian. I just bought a house in washington state and take ownership tomorrow. Unfortunately due to border restrictions and travel, I will not be moving into the house until next spring (if even then if the borders are still not open because then we wouldnt be able to see one another). Currently, we do not live together and we were not planning on living together until he came down to the states to live in my house. We do not see any point in moving in together right now (because we would both have to move out of our current living situation) and I will hopefully be moving into my house this Spring. As we are completing the I-130 forms, we have come to the part where you submit your evidence. We do not live together, and we do not share bank accounts. It then says we could use some affidavit's as proof. How many are required? The more the better? etc. Is there any other ways of proof they will accept ? thank you so much : )

Hi everyone, I am a French citizen with a temporary residence in Canada. I am currently waiting for an interview at Montreal (I was DQed at the end of April 2020) but since the consulate is taking forever to schedule any new interview, I am wondering if I should switch my case to Paris. Has anyone ever switched voluntarily a case to another country after being DQed? Do you stay with a DQ status if all the required documents are the same in both consulate/embassy? How long does it usually take for NVC from the moment of the application to the moment the embassy receives/approves the transfer? Most importantly, do you know if you lose your place in line by doing so? I would not want to transfer my case, have to come back to live in France etc just to be put after people who have being DQed in Paris after me Lots of questions but if anyone has some experience on this, I would be very grateful!

Hello! Just wondering if anyone has had their passport stamped with No EOS / No AOS before and how are the chances of entering the US again after returning to Canada? I m freaking out as this is the first time it has happened to me. I admit I frequent my husband in the US especially since COVID hit and he cannot afford to do the 14-day quarantine here in Canada. I don t plan on overstaying, but I do plan to come visit him again during the holidays in maybe end of November or early December. Will I be denied entry if I try to visit again so soon? Will that affect my current CR1 application if I do get denied entry? I m currently visiting him for 2 weeks during the Canadian thanksgiving week thanks for the help!

Hey guys! My Fiance is planning a trip out here and we want to get her some travelers insurance. We found one that works good for us but it seems really sketchy. Does anyone have any travelers insurance they can recommend or advice on how to find out if this site is trustworthy? We've already tried to google search them and haven't found much information about them.

Hello, So I am currently waiting for an interview at the Montreal embassy , I was dq in Feb of this year. I have all of my documents in order , but I don't have my Kuwaiti police check( I worked there for 5 years). Unfortunately , I can't apply for it either because once you are no longer a resident you are not able to get one done. I spoke to my lawyer about it and he said the it "should" be fine , but this has me on edge. What should I do? Is there an alternative form that I can fill out?
