US Immigration from Canada

My case went from refused, to ready, to application received.

As a preface I had my interview at the Montreal Consulate on February 26th 2020 and got issued a 221g to submit a new passport.

Fast forward to September I am notified by the consulate that my medical exam will expire so I have to submit a new one.

On October 2nd I submitted both my passport and my new medical exam to the consulate.

Today my CEAC status changed from refused, to ready, to application received.

Does anyone know what this means?

I'm wondering if anybody has started the process in the link above for their fianc /fianc e or any other extended family.

We are looking to submit our application and request written authorization for my fianc to drive up in March or so to help me pack up after my K1 visa gets issued, then drive back down along the coast.

I noticed in the web page, it only mentions air travel -- would land travel be acceptable for the USC once the application and written authorization from IRCC is approved?

Any and all insights regarding this new process is very much appreciated!

About 5 minutes ago, I checked the CEAC tracker for my K1 Visa application that was sent to the embassy in Montreal from NVC and arrived there on April 30th (last updated date).

Obviously since everything was closed my last updated date was April 30th since well.... April 30th.

I've just out of pure coincidence (I've gone to take a screenshot to print out as proof of going through the legal immigration process, along with a whole bunch of other documents to prove I will be coming back to Canada, as I'm flying out to Buffalo tomorrow to see my fianc ) and I've just seen that the last updated date is October 5th!!!

So is this my second ready? What do I do now?

I've just cried a little because I never thought that April 30th date would change from the tracker.

I understand my husband who i am sponsoring, has to fill out the I-130a form. Is he supossed to print it, sign it.. and then what?

Hello, does anybody happen to know what the timeline is for I-485 adjustment of status is? We sent in our application middle of July and I still haven't gotten my biometrics appointment yet...
