Hi All, I have just mailed in the packet for our I-130 to start the CR-1,IR-1 process and would love to have this forum to track movement with other October people! This site has been such a great resource. Good luck and good tracking!

Hi, My future father-in-law does not have a surname listed on his passport. If we do not fill in the field for the surname on the DS160 form it does not allow for us to proceed. Has anyone overcome this issue, and if so, how? Thanks, Ellie

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but... I'm Canadian and our I130 has just been approved!! Got the NVC welcome letter and now we're putting together our civil documents. I have changed my name and I have changed everything except my passport. Due to COVID they shut down passport services and just reopened but for mail in service only. I want to submit everything as quick as we can. I have scanned my passport with my maiden name. The question is do I need my passport in my new name to submit off to the NVC or would it be okay to send my current passport and bring my new passport with me to the interview when that happens?

While waiting for AOS interview, I applied for the renewal of EAD/AP, and got biometrics reuse notice in the end of September. Yesterday (October 22nd), I got 2 text messages and 2 emails notifying as "We have taken an action on your case" So far I do not see any changes made for I-485, I-130, I-765, however the case status of my I-131 is unavailable. When asked Emma, I'm required to attend a biometrics appointment, and it has not been scheduled yet. Seriously?? After getting biometrics reuse notice, and will get a biometrics appointment? Anybody has the same/similar situation with me?

I have applied (Form-130) for my Canadian born child back in Sept of 2017. The file is located in USCIS Vermont Office. I check USCIS Processing time frequently however, I am confused on date(s) Can anyone out their share their view/comment/experience about this. USCIS website I check Processing time page and in "Receipt date for a Case Inquiry" column has a date but some time that date shows March 15 2105 and few days later same column shows Feb 15 2015. I can understand when the date moves forward but the question is why this dates is moving backwards. Please have your comments. Stay Safe out there Thanks, SN
