Joint sponsor as household member in i-944? |

Hello, I received an RFE for my i-944 and am currently filling it out. For "household size" we should include the beneficiary filling out the i-944 and myself (her spouse) - 2. My father, who listed me as a dependent, is also our joint sponsor and filled out an i-864. Do we include him and his income as part of our household in the i-944? The instructions state that someone who lists you as a dependent should be included. But I am the spousal household member, not the declarant. The declarant is not listed as a dependent anywhere. Thanks!

I'm originally from Canada, PR in USA for 4-5years. I remember reading there was a deadline for moving assets and money to USA. I can't remember where I read it or the reason for this deadline. Can someone provide me info on this and the rules, etc. (Cdn dollar is finally rising again, thinking it's a good time to move it.) thanks

I guess I m looking for information/what to expect on this during the CR1/IR1 process. I am Canadian that had a 3-year TN visa issued in 2015. Lived in Canada and crossed multiple times/month during the visa validity. In 2018 I attempted to renew the Visa and was denied and the remainder of my TN revoked (about a month remaining) and took my nexus card. They said they shouldn t have issued the visa originally as they didn t feel my job matched the category (Management Consultant). I had used a lawyer to prepare the docs for the original and the renewal and lawyers were adamant that CPB made a mistake not renewing and we petitioned USCIS which ultimately denied the visa. No problem. I had been dating my US girlfriend (now wife) for about a year prior to the CPB denial. We married about 7 months later in Canada in 2019 and submitted I-130 in august 2020. I have crossed multiple times since the visa revocation/denial with no issues to visit her. Was pulled into secondary once but was allowed to proceed. I have no criminal record, no overstays, wife makes more than enough for I-864EZ when we get to that point, nothing that I am concerned about there. Just more wondering when I get to the NVC and interview stage (still waiting on I-130 approval), should I expect this to cause an issue or is there anything specific I should be prepared for that anyone s aware of? I know I have to disclose this on the DS-260, which I am fine with as I never misrepresented anything to get the visa originally and used basically the same information for renewal and denied. TIA for any info.

Heya VisaJourney friends, First had my I-485 AOS interview cancelled in April due to COVID19, now my interview got cancelled again today - Not sure why it was cancelled I am thinking it's the snow storm but the thing is the snow won't even start to come down for 6+ hours after the interview would have finished. Was supposed to have the interview tomorrow. I know that after the Interview I'd be getting my 2-year Conditional Green Card. What I'm wondering is in June I'll be having my 2 year marriage anniversary with my wife. Will I be eligible to get the 10 year green card instead of doing this 2 year green card instead? Would be better so I don't have to keep "re-preparing" my papers/files for every interview.

Hello! I had my interview for my IR-1 Visa in Montreal on Dec. 7. I was fingerprinted for my updated police certificate (current one had expired) Dec. 1 but had not yet received results. The officer there said she had to issue me a 221g but was confident once they received my police certificate (uploaded online) that my visa could be issued, so they kept my passport. My question is - from the time I upload the new police certificate, how long should I expect to wait before my visa is processed and sent? I'm seeing timelines up to 6 weeks but I'm hoping this isn't the case as I already live in the US (TN Visa). Wondering if anyone has been in this situation and could share their timeline. TIA!
