US Immigration from Canada

My fianc lives in Canada, but he's not a Canadian citizen (he's Jamaican). He applied for his Canadian PR (permanent residency) January 2020, but it is still processing. We have not seen each other since January 2020 due to the border closure, and since he is not a Canadian citizen, we cannot visit each other (Canada only allows visitors who are related to a citizen or are in long-term relationships with citizens). Unfortunately he also cannot fly to the U.S. because he only has a work visa in Canada and he's afraid he wouldn't be allowed back in to Canada should he leave.

I hope his pending Canadian PR application does not confuse/interfere with our pending K1. Should you have any knowledge on this topic, please let me know. I appreciate this message board and have found some anxiety-reducing posts. Thank you for sharing all the information you've uncovered and experienced. Good luck to all.

We submitted my wife's AOS package a few weeks ago and just got it back today. It was stated on the rejection letter that the i-864 and i-944 were required, which we included in full including all required evidence. None of the forms are outdated, they match what's currently on the USCIS website.

I'm at a loss for what to do here. My wife and I, as well as my parents all looked over it and none of us could find anything obviously wrong with it. Looking for any pointers as to what I may have screwed up on, especially if anyone's had any similar experiences. It is incredibly annoying how you only get vague indications of what's wrong when they send these rejection letters.

Edit: the only thing I can vaguely think to do is to go through and write and/a on every single blank section and hope that fixes the problem. But I can't be sure that is the problem.

Hello, my husband has a 2 year green card. We have to renew it soon to a 10 year green card. Does that mean we are removing conditions ? Can someone help guide me to what section/ papers I need! TIA!!

I'm looking for a new job, and I'm realizing that I really should have removed the "valid with DHS authorization only" line from my SSN card. I called the local SSA office, and they said that they will not send me a clean card with an extension letter, so I have to wait.

I have an expired green card, the extension letter, and the cursed SSN card. I know I'm legally able to proceed, but am I going to have any trouble with new employers? I'm sure it's case by case, but has anyone had good or bad stories you can share?
