US Immigration from Canada

So about three weeks ago my wife s removal of conditions was approved and she received her 10 year Green Card.

Now she is eligible to file for U.S. citizenship on the basis of the three year rule. She entered the United States with her K1 visa on September 30, 2017, we got married November 7, 2017, and since then she s only been out of the country once for a 10 day trip (not counting the handful of other times we ve been across the border into Canada for less than 24 hours).

The question is whether to file now, or wait to see what the Biden administration does about the more objectionable changes to the Civics Test. Specifically, questions where the answers exclude immigrants. For example, changing the correct answer for Who do your state senators and representatives serve? from all the residents of the state to all the citizens of the state.

I know the changes are minor in that regard, but, much as the Constitution makes clear that the Census is to count ALL the people residing in the country, a state s Congressional leaders are supposed to serve ALL the residents of their state, citizens AND immigrants alike, and the idea that even the immigrants are not included in the answers is EXTREMELY repugnant to me as both the child of an immigrant who chose for 25 years to not get US citizenship and now the spouse of an immigrant as well.

So, what do others here think? File now or wait and see?

Has anyone gotten their K1 visa approved in the past few months and were able to drive into the US by car? Due to the Canada-US border being closed by land, were you still able to cross with just the Visa approval?

We are at the packet 3 stage and once approved I will be going from Montreal to Florida but would obviously want to take my car with me.

My fianc and I are planning to get married and seek the CR1 visa. I am a Canadian citizen and he is an American citizen, we have been in a relationship for 2 years and I have records for several, frequent trips to visit him. We would like to avoid the K1 visa because it seems to be backlogged and we intend on getting married soon.

Because we are pre-marriage, where do we get married for the sake of seeking a CR1?
Can I get married in the U.S. on a visitor visa and then leave back to Canada as we fill out the CR1?
Or do we need to get married outside of the U.S., like in Canada or Sweden?

Do I need to get passport photos taken for the DS-160 or can I just take a pic that meets the requirements and upload that?

I know for the medical and final interview I will need actual passport photos.

Hi there, I'm starting to gathering documents for my K1 visa and am trying to figure out how to bind the documents together in the end. Just loose leave with the name, page number, etc, on each pg, and that's it? Can't seem to find the answer in the instruction packet. Thank you very much!
