US Immigration from Canada

Me and my fiance are going through the K1 process (almost done). If i entered the US on a K1 and got married, would I be able to return home and file for AOS from outside the US?

Ideally I would want to come back to Canada until I am able to work in the US.

I have applied for my naturalization. I m still waiting for my green card application removal of conditions. I received a letter requesting more information. I already sent joint irs, health insurance, car insurance , joint car insurance

I went for my interview thinking it was for the citizenship test. While we were there, husband came along, she started to get angry with me why I didn t bring more evidence. I had thought when I sent more evidence in a year ago this was enough, but no. She was very rude and I was so exasperated then she says don t get huffy with me you were supposed to bring all this along. I felt terrible. Not knowing that this was expected. I thought I was going to cry. So she said I m going to send another letter- asking for details of financial and assets proving a good faith marriage. Since I sent all of the info a year ago we have bought a house together. So I will send all the paperwork of the payments the mortgage. Also even though I showed our joint bank account she said she needs bank statements in detail for last 3 years. I will send that too. Good news I passed the test and now the only thing left is this extra evidence.

As I'm filling in the I-765 for renewal of my EAD, Question 25 asks me for my current immigration status or category.

I entered on a K-1 Visa, got married, and then filed for adjustment of status alongside employment authorization and advance parole.

Got my first combo card and am now waiting for green card interview.

My question is how do I answer Question 25. Am I still K-1?

My AOS marriage based interview was completed, but the case must be reviewed (Initial Review). 06/2017, my LPR husband filed I-130 before I-485 (non-concurring), receipt 09/15/2017, approved 06/25/2019. (Beneficiary, me decided to file AOS within US). We had our AOS interview last week, it was short but went smoothly. We felt very confident per officer s verbally told us that he was satisfied with our case.

Because our I-130 was already approved, but the officer told us that still needed our physical file of I-130 from other location prior to finalizing my AOS application. We didn t bother asking what location.

(I-130 upgrade) We notified NVC National Visa Center and NBC National Benefit Center right away after my spouse became USC. The complete packet AOS we submitted was included the copy of I-130 approval notice.

I am a Canadian, born in Thailand. NVC New Hampshire had notified us back in 2017 that our I-130 case will be forwarded to US embassy in Thailand where I don t have any tie with my birthplace no more since immigrated to Canada. When typed in the NVC case number+invoice id sent from NVC NH, I see my I-130 case has been ready for an interview at US Embassy, Thailand since 2017.

My questions

1. Any Ideas, where is my physical I-130 located, NBC, NVC New Hampshire or US Embassy Thailand?

2. How how long does it take after the USCIS local officer has requested the physical file I-130 from above locations?

Any advice or sharing similar experience is greatly appreciated.

My non-U.S. spouse of 3 years cheated on me as we await removal of conditions. Things are tough and I've been seriously considering divorce. Every day is a new challenge in dealing with this situation. I do not want to be potentially financially responsible for him over the next 12 years if we divorce and have no contact, as the signer of the Affidavit of Financial Support for him at the time of the original K-1 application docs. He is employed full-time (where he met the new girlfriend and still works with her every day since my discovery of the affair last October). Will I be able to cancel the affidavit of support should we end up finalizing divorce??
