I see Montreal Consulate updated their processing status March 2nd on their website stating they are now processing immediate relative family members including fiance visas.
We are F31 (married adult children of a US citizen)
We along with fiance visas were banned under proclamation 10014 until it was recently lifted. Before this they were only processing young children of US citizens. But now they've changed how they worded it for family.
What counts as immediate relative family members? Its my husband who is the son of a US citizen. Do you think we would be included in that general statement of "immediate relatives"? I wish they would list the visa types they are processing. It's always clear as mud.
We had an interview appointment booked last year in March but it was canceled 5 days before due to the pandemic and then proclamation 10014. I am hoping this means we are now back on the list to be rescheduled for our interview. We've waited 15 yrs now and got so close before it all stopped. Hoping we can begin moving forward again soon.
