I might be moving away for school to a different state and my husband will continue to live at our house. To show that it is only a temporary move my husband will be on all the bills for my rental apartment too so we can show we are still very much in a real marriage. He will also likely visit me a lot since he s working from home so we can show the officer that too. I am wondering a few things: 1. Should I update my physical address with USCIS even though it s a temporary move and we are going to keep our house (original address)? I do not want to change my mailing address. 2. Will the case be moved even though we are so close to getting an interview? 3. Have people lived separately and still been approved?

Hi all, I've seen a lot of conflicting information regarding the "correct police certificate" for the US Consulate in Montreal & wanted to see if those who've completed the process since Nov. 2020 can confirm what it says on theirs? The one I received states the following: Type of Criminal Record Check for Personal Use: For Active Criminal Record Is this correct? Or, should the sub-type be something else? Please let me know if any of you happen to know the answers to this! Thank you so much!

Hi guys, I have decided to put together a binder after being inspired by a lot of people here who took thick binders to the interview. I am wondering what did you guys put in there? 1. I130 application and contents submitted for proof of bona fide marriage 2. All NOA that you guys got 3. i485 filing paper work 4. birth certificates 5. marriage certificate 6. Any new evidence for marriage support 7. updated income support from spouse 8. medical form if not submitted Do I really need to print off all my i485 stuff again and bring it independently even though USCIS already has everything I submitted? Thanks so much!

Hey visa Journey! I'm nearing the final steps before naturlization and it dawned on me, how am I going to be able to sponsor my parents if I was furloughed from my job in 2020? My tax return for the year 2020 is going to be shot. How will USCIS determine if a person is eligible to proceed as the role of acting sponsor if so many people due to the pandemic were either layed off all together or weren't working their regular work hours? My salary for all other previous years exceeded way over the poverty line, so I'm a bit concerned. I'm curious to know what protocol USCIS will take towards many people in this current situation/global climate we are facing. Much Thanks!
