Would love advice on how to proceed. I filed the i-751 (Removal of Conditions) for a 10-year green card in late 2019. They received it and sent an 18-month extension on my two-year green card. October 2020 I applied for the N-400 for dual citizenship when my window of eligibility opened so this is also pending.

I've looked on USCIS's website for updates on each case number. For i-751, it says that as of October 15th 2020, I am ready to be interviewed and a letter with instructions will arrive in the mail. It's late March and I have received nothing. How long could I be waiting for this interview? Should I be trying to apply for another extension soon or is there a high chance the i-751 will be approved before my extension expires? Or is it possible that the N-400 will get approved before June?

I'm not really sure if I should be doing something right now or if I should just keep checking the mail everyday. Anyone in the same boat?

Help! So in the mail we got a package from the USCIS about our K1 application we filed back in November of 2019.

In this package it has a rejection notice but dated January 22 2021 ??? Lol it says due to fees not being paid however, yes they were back in 2019 (or else how the heck did I make it to the USA??)

Timeline:
November 2019 sent/received NOA1
March 2020 approved received NOA2
November 18th 2020 interview
January 17th entered the USA WITH MY K1 VISA

The package is all our original paper work and all the paper work I submitted in Montreal. When I looked as well like there is a giant stamp with the approval date and my assigned case number for MTL.

Anyone seen this before? What should I do? Haha I m getting ready to file AOS soon and I want to clear up any misunderstanding haha

I m thinking some got thoroughly confused because I wouldn t be in the USA already if we hadn t gotten approved

I m planning on calling on Monday but I ve never heard of this and looking for some guidance haha. @Greenbaum have you ever seen this happen before?

Was doing some googling on "Country chargeable" on the form i485 and that made me wonder because it said that India and China are "Oversubscribed" countries.

Quick question...

We are filling out I-134. My US fiance is divorced and has a child. The mom has full custody since she lives in another state and my fiance pays child support.

Since he does not claim the child as a dependent on his income taxes, do we still need to list her as a dependent on I-134 since he pays child support?
