US Immigration from Canada

Greetings,

I've been looking unsuccessfully for an answer to my question online, I figured someone here has either experienced this or knows.

I am moving to the US next month on an IR1 visa (interview was done and approved in February). My question is, am I able to return to Canada and work part time at my current job here? My employer is fine with this arrangement. I would ensure that I am not in Canada for longer than 6 months out of the calendar year. Where I am moving to is very rural and I do not have a drivers license or a vehicle, so working in the US is not an option for me at present. I am employed at a grocery store and will need to return frequently to Toronto to visit my mother.

Our green card interview is scheduled for April 28. My wife and I recently purchased a home and today I submitted the change of address AR-11 form. My concern is that the change of address won't register before we are approved/ the card is produced and they mail the green card to the wrong address.

Should I be concerned?

Is there any way to avoid this issue?

Can I tell the interviewing agent about the change of address to make sure it gets mailed to the proper one?

Quick summary: My husband (U.S citizen) and I filed the I-130 petition for me- a spouse living outside of the U.S (currently in Canada). Our I-130 has not yet been approved, but we did receive the NOA.

My question is- once the I-130 is approved, can I (the beneficiary, wife living outside of the U.S) submit the EAD (I-795) when we submit the green card application? I have heard and read several different answers. We filed with SimpleCitizen and they told us I would be able to submit the EAD, but I ve read elsewhere that is not an option if I m filing from outside the U.S. Help! I would really love to know if I am looking at a few months before I am in the U.S after filing the I-795, or if I ll be in Canada for +1 year until my green card application is approved.

Guys - I m separated from my husband right now and it s brutal!
is it bad to keep emailing the consulate for answers until I get a reply? An immigration lawyer told me it won t hurt. All I had to do was submit my police check and it s 3 weeks in the process already!

I hope everyone is doing well today. I just need your advice with regards to getting my police certificate. We are still waiting for our form I-130 s approval but I just want to be one step ahead specially of the delays on requiring documents from another country. Me and my husband got married in 2019. I have a police certificate from the Philippines in my maiden name. I m thinking of getting one now on my married name since the expiration date won t be an issue because I last stayed in the Philippines in 2015 and never came back. Since I will be applying as a new applicant because my last name has changed, the processing will take some time. Should I get one now? Or should I wait until it s being asked so the date will be most recent if that makes sense?
